Outburst during JS hearing!

I can't imagine how difficult it must be for CJMP to make a quick decision in this sort of circumstance. It requires such wisdom in finding the balance between imposing a fair sentence to fit the 'crime' yet taking into consideration the perpetrator and their unique circumstances. I am learning a lot about balancing aggravating and mitigating factors by following this case, and have greater respect for our legal system. God bless all judges, attorney's and jurors who need to make these kinds of decisions on a daily basis. Nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for CJMP.

I had fallen asleep to the rhythm of His Honor's voice, I must have been sleeping nearly an hour when I was startled awake by a woman crying and HHJP scolding her. WTH? That woke me up right quick.

I agree with those who said she looked familiar. She did remind of one of the protesters from the A house. From her sobs and manner of speaking, I got the impression the woman today has "issues". To her credit, she was willing to turn herself in at the jail - after disrupting the court!!!

She was sitting in the courtroom as a spectator when she shouted out! FGS!

All always, I believe HH is too lenient. I would have demanded to see her medications and to have her bring a note from her doctor. Unbelievable!

Poor Judge Perry, he must have nerves of steel.

Guy on IS reporting she walked in, sit down and with in a few seconds caused the up roar.

Anyone notice that ICA is visibly shaken and looks quite strange after this outburst....

She looked sober, IMO. About time she got with the program. She'll hear a lot worse when the SA presents their case next week. MOO

I'm kind of suspicious, but on the flip side, she said what a lot of us are thinking... only difference is: I guess her mental capacity overrode common sense to keep her mouth closed. Not that I am deriding the woman and putting her down, because she admitted to having issues... I just know from experience with a child that has issues, sometimes his mouth flies before thinking.

WOW.. Angry CJBP. Scary!

He's such a teddy bear normally.
I fell bad for that poor girl cause clearly she didnt mean to make a scene and regrets her outburst but she obviously needs some help and we needed someone to set the prescidence! Set the bar? Make an example of i guess... is what im trying to say

I don't. Sorry, but if she couldn't control herself, she shouldn't be in the courtroom.
Just because you have mental issues don't mean you use it as a crutch.
Again, this comes from one who suffers from Aspergers and ADHD.

I have a friend with bi-polar (on Lithium, etc) and she can certainly control herself. There's something else going on here -- maybe she is off her meds. But we all have some type of self control, and only we can choose it. As Your Honour would say "it's entirely up to you".

Look at all the lives KC has affected. Its unreal. Now the LE guy could be disciplined.

He has to be ... HE, if anyone, knows the rules. But I am gussing he diverted conversation to calm the lady ... she was whisked out, knew nothing ... for all she knew a weapon was there. I am guessing he said calming things .. asked her how she was , said usual stuff like , "you never know what happens here (with a smile) ... The PJ was an innocent victim of a scary moment. He will be fine (I am guessing) ... once they find out what was said ... but they need to know what was said, so does he - so he doesn't do it again.

I am glad he went to her .... the unknown is much more frightening than having a big burly cop next to you - assuring you

Like I said before, I think Your Honour is going to have to exclude the public from this trial. If some unoosual person does this during trial, there coud be a mistrial and we could go on for years. My goodness, when I saw here, the first person that came to mind was "Is that Joy Wray"? No, I'm being serious!

I hope she spends the night in jail and is being held by a LEO and not yapping to some media type.

BBM : Me too ... my first thought was JW ... then I thought well, maybe it's CA ... :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:... NAW ....

Studying how to act if you have bipolar and PTSD maybe?

I did feel sorry for the lady who caused the disruption but I'm glad HHJP found her in contempt. Others will watch and learn hopefully. I have to say she did look familiar so I'm wondering if she's been around in this case before. Maybe the search or the protestors or something. She and JW could be BFFs.

WOWZERS!!! KC better be shaking in those go go boots!!! This judge does not mess around! That was wild!!!

CA jumps up like that in the court and she'll see the jail time one way or another...

Interesting ... caused the "up roar" in a few seconds ...

MOO MOO and MOO ...

I will NOT be surprised if there is a connection to "someone" in the courtroom or "someone" in this case ...

JMO - I felt a very immature demeanor from E. Rogers. This woman is extremely mentally ill. I don't think this was a monkey wrench from the DT. This was a person who wanted to sit in Caylee's court and didn't have the mental where with all to prevent herself from emotional outbursts. Whether that was due to need of medication or not, I can't say.

I'll continue to feel for her. Nor do I believe for a moment she was faking.

How did this woman happen to wander into the courtroom? Aren't there bailiffs posted outside who would ask for ID before admitting someone into the courtroom of a very high-profile case? Yes, I know and understand that the public is welcome, but I can't imagine that this means that anyone can wander in and out as they please.

Me either ... BUT there are different levels of mental illness and meds don't work for all.
My Godson has aspergers and ADHD - great kid, extemely intelligent but at this stage he will never be alone - that may change in the future, but at this stage it isn't possible.

She had a truckload of issues, not to forget an obvious previous heroin problem - lifestyle plays a huge part in how we cope.

Mental illness is too huge a blanket at the moment, we shouldn't be putting everyone with a condition into the same basket.

I think she got off easy and she should have gotten a lot more time than she did. IMO, her actions resembled those of the protestors outside of the Anthony home. It is good to see there is some justice regarding that by Judge Perry though. She deserved all 48 hours.

You probably already know this, but each persons mental illness is their own and there is no one way a sufferer behaves or acts. Because your friend could control themselves does not mean we can expect everyone to.

Severity of the illness and success of medications are different for everyone.

I posted on the other thread that I had volume up and heard KC say "that is why I said these proceedings should be closed" - "it should not be open to the public, should be closed like I said," then she says "I am fine just fine"

She is not shaky or anything just more anger towed her defense team. She is special and should have special rules for her case. But what she fails to realize is murdering your own baby is as low as it gets and people will hate her for it!mo

I'm always amused that this unemployed high school dropout thinks she knows what is best! This won't be the last time ICA does not get her way so she better get used to it, prison is full of rules inmates have no say or control over!
