I saw on MSNBC this evening that his attorney says he did NOT overdose. He had been taking antidepressants, but slit his wrists before the emergency call or whatever. He has dropped out of the movie he was making.
Then I saw on the local TV news here that he has left the hospital already, for an unknown location. (treatment of some sort?)
Robin Givens was interviewed on Fox news this afternoon about a book that she has written about her depression. She said alot of times celebreties feel they must HIDE their depression, act like everything's OK, etc.
As many have noticed, young celebrities who make it big, just haven't had enough time to be mature about life, and they can make alot of bad mistakes. He dropped out of college, and "delved into girls", most likely; enjoying the bucks, travel etc.
But all of a sudden you wake up - "who am I, really?", are these the friends I want to keep hanging around with, who will I spend the rest of my life with; are these the values my family taught me?
She pointed out he's so different from other stars like Britney, Lindsey, he hasn't done alot of things to make people lose all respect for him. Everyone interviewed in E! tonite (Jane Seymour and others) said they were totally shocked, and what a neat guy they thought he was.
I think he's going to get alot of fan mail and find out who his real friends are, and that people are there for him.
