Found this review: "I when to the Dr. for A Fib. After a year I noticed that virtually all his patients where on chelation therapy. I did some research and found that he sends his urine test to Doctors Data, a company started by the company that make the chelation drugs he dispenses. Doctor's Data has been under investigation by the New York AG's office for "cooking the results of the tests." It seems the pills you take before the urine test elevates the levels of lead in the results. My Insurance co. stopped covering Dr. Heilbron. My A. Fib was found to be A. Just curious as to why RGH has a white coat on with a stethoscope in a lecture environment. I guess he is not aware that this is no longer the norm, let alone ridiculous IMO.
The more I have read about this person here, the more I admire the doctors like my DH who work so hard, don't take the "easy" road, have integrity and put their patients first.
Way back, almost 30 years ago, my DH (long former) first partner managed the practice. She stole money, failed to pay quarterly taxes, send garnished child support payments to the State for an employee etc. My DH was blindsided when he found out and instead of suing her, he worked even harder and longer hours to pay back the IRS debt, which was a large chunk of change.
I only mention this as I can see TS having been in a similar position. Trusting, loving what she did, putting patients first, caring about them, and wanting to grow her practice where she saw the needs. I don't believe she ever thought about shortcuts, ripping people off; was dishonest or was remotely involved in the deceptive practices around her. You place your trust in those that work for you and who do you trust the most? Your spouse. MS failed her on so many levels IMO and even more so in death. IMOO

Can you imagine having IV bags (in some cases he recommended 40 treatments...taking as long as 3 hours each) hooked to you because you were given INTENTIONALLY ALTERED MEDICAL RESULTS?? It just boggles the mind: Did he "doctor" the results of sick patients to make them look "improved."?? or Did he "doctor" the results of healthy patients to make them look "unwell"???
Personally, I think it really didn't matter to the "charlatan chelator" (I knew if I looked long enough, I'd find an apt description for him that went well with "chelator".) Healthy or unwell, it appears he wasn't going to let an insured or cash paying (victim?) patient walk out the door without some sort of expensive treatment.
Now, he shows up in Florida where there is no shortage of potential new cash paying (victims?) patients....go figure.

This reminds me of the Dateline episode I saw about the "Dr" (Farid Fata) http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/07/10/cancer-doctor-sentenced-years-horrific-fraud/29996107/ who treated/didn't treat/killed/scammed people with and without cancer for years to make money. Lots of money. UGH

It is such a great tax benefit to have a church. No taxes for many areas. I do not know of all of the exemptions except for property.
People can give $14,000 to someone, and that person does not have to pay taxes on that gift, so there may be that way to get money as well.
I know of a man from the US who came to the foreign place I live and stayed in a closed resort for one entire year for free. He had all of these plans drawn up for a resort he was selling to millionaires. Little did they know that he did not own the land. The govt here went along with it until recently, ten years later, he was exposed
He has beautiful websites and false information on the net that he had built a resort in another foreign country. I watched this and told people. I even wrote letters to the editor here several years ago.
People saw dollar skgns and their eyes were clouded with the vision,
Warching this scam, I see how people can be fooled even with the truth in front of them.

some people trust in their doctor and with that trust, they trust in that dr 100%. sadly, people shouldnt always trust 100% what their drs say, always get a second opinion and educate themselves on whats wrong with them. im finding this out since i have been diagnosed with gout. my dr gave me some paper on gout and also told me to ask questions. very good dr she is, but i also am educating myself with this gout.
I couldn't agree with you more about educating yourself and getting more than one opinion. That was our experience with my DH's prostate cancer on 2007. A younger (and we presumed more informed) urologist wanted him to commit to the extremely invasive surgery (which comes with serious side effects) within two weeks, based on only statistical chances that it would spread. We took a deep breath, educated ourselves, had more tests that the urologist wouldn't tell him about, got multiple opinions, and he is still on active surveillance to this day. Advances in imaging allow him to keep a close eye on it with the help of a respected prostate oncologist in Los Angeles.
What we find very interesting is that a number of men he has known with prostate cancer have jumped into surgery without doing the research...even when my DH has tactfully offered to share names of resources. It has become clear to both of us that when people are scared, they don't want to take the time to become informed. Sadly, they have suffered the consequences of surgery that may not have been needed. They want to trust the diagnosing doctor, who may not encourage them to become informed. In the case of RH and others (even in mainstream medicine), that trust is often misplaced. And that fear and trust is what allows irresponsible doctors to do serious damage.
