Just so sad to see this. I was a huge fan of this amazing, talented, crazy man. So glad we got to say farewell when he performed that one last time. RIP Ozzy you complete and utter legend.

He died "surrounded by love", a statement from his family said on Tuesday night.

The family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.

"Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

RiP Ozzy. Love to all his family, friends and fans. He'll be much missed.
Strangely I booked tickets for Black Sabbath - the ballet yesterday, for October. It'll be a sort of tribute now.

I'm trying to remember if I ever saw Black Sabbath in concert. I might have back when they were just becoming popular, playing smaller venues with other groups on the bill.

Very sad to hear this.
There's no doubt in my mind that all the music greats come out of the UK.
Debatable I know, and I think the acting greats come out of US

Very sorry to see this sad news. I’m glad Ozzy was able to perform with the other members of his band Black Sabbath one last time back home in Birmingham, UK just a couple of weeks ago. You could see how much this meant to him and all his fans who attended the concert. Sincere condolences to all his family and all his fans. May Ozzy Rest In Peace.

Rest easy, legend. Thank you for all the years of metal madness, truly great whether w/Black Sabbath or solo career, you stayed with the love of music. Thank you to Sharon too, would we have known his music for so long if not for her? ;)

(well we played it all the time anyway)

I saw them MANY years ago along with Rod Stewart & Faces, and Deep Purple. It was my first rock concert. I was 14.

Yes, I’m pretty sure that’s the Rod Stewart & Faces tour I saw. It was when this song was on the charts

That might have been when I saw Black Sabbath

It was the summer of 71 for me. I was a naive 14 year old. Needless to say I was quite blown away. This was the year of Maggie May . Stewart had a bottle in one hand and the microphone stand in the other. I don’t think he could’ve stood without it. Orlando Sports Stadium.

My very first concert was seeing Ozzy at the Tower Theater. I was in the third row and he through a bucket of water out into the crowd. I may have gotten a little wet, but I had such a good time and Ozzy gave a great show! Thank you for music..RIP!
