P.I. "Cobra" searches for Haleigh, feels confident there will be a break in case soon

Considering she stated she had already been there before by her loneself and had searched the premises for four hours, I'm not buying she was scared of any type of confrontation with the owner..

We don't know if she was searching that exact area or an area in general and came upon it for 4 hours, nor do we even know if it was exactly 4 hours.
It's one thing to snoop by yourself quietly, and another to bring Cobra (who is obviously a confronational tough guy) and a camera man with you; so no, i don't blame her for leaving.
If anything, i would have left since Cobra freaked me out.. i'd rather have been in the woods by myself than with Cobra and his cameraman.

If Cobra is such a hot shot and a good "bounty hunter" and wanted to truly find Haleigh why didn't he spend some time out there hunting down Chad R? He is an absconded sexual predator that went missing 7 days before Haleigh, previously broke into a double wide MH in Putnam county while parents were home, molested a child with another child in the room. If I was a "bounty hunter" CR would certainly be somebody I would have went looking for.

And what if you were wrong - how much time would have been spent spinning wheels maybe chasing someone who has no involvement ? One has to start from the inside and work out not vice versa.

I haven't seen the results of any polyographs. Did I miss something or is that another rumor. ?

It's logic; there was another case where a little boy went missing and members of his family were being polygraphed; the uncle was polygraphed 3 times for showing deception in that case (although the uncle was not involved).

So for Misty to be polygraphed 3 times, they are trying to see what she is showing deception about, would be my guess imo...

LE won't say whether any of them has passed or failed

I consider sipping tea at memaws with Ron and spending time giving interviews a waste of time. In all likely hood this crime was committed by a predator...so why hasn't Cobra gone after any predators, other then DS and not until the camera crew got there.

If I'm not mistaken she stated four hours.. For some unknown reaon I'm having a problem with Internet Explorer accessing the art harris site..I've also searched for that video on youtube and can't locate that particular one, eventhough the others he has posted are there...

My stance is still the same though, if she went out there alone before, she was not afraid of a confrontation. She also stated she didn't even know that place existed...

Just an observation. IMO, knowing the area, knowing TN I can't believe that she said she was out in those woods for 4 hours. She may have said "it seemed as if it was for hours" and that is pure supposition by me. For some reason being, a former, avid hunter I would not have spent 4 hours in the Florida brush alone.

We dont know that TN called Cobra. In the first article it said that TN pulled up to the Citgo and Cobra asked her what was wrong. In the second article it said that TN called Cobra and he told her to meet him at Citgo.

The certain someones were LE. They wouldn't share things with him and he went off alienating most residents of the area with his wild west antics. When the S. incident arose, I believe, that was LE's chance to bid adios. I don't see what **** could do. We have Floridas FDLE/local LE/ some FBI contingent were here. Equsearch. Boats and such, dogs of all sorts and above all the cooperation of the entire community And now some PI is supposed to swoop in and solve this bizaar case. 2 of them didn't fare too well in Orlando and they were within 10' of the body of little Caylee.

respectfully bolded by me...most stranger perp abductions arent really "bizarre". They are pretty much black and white. It may be hard to fathom how a child can be taken right out from under a parents nose, but we have all seen that it happens. But, while one thing is hard to fathom, its a whole other defininition when something is bizarre. IMO this is "bizarre" because it has been created to be, to cause the confusion to protect the guilty, and like I said, some stranger hasn't created all of this.MOO

I have no problem including them as candidates in need of some serious counselling..

I would say the pulling to The Citgo would be plausible, however I believe that if anything other than the Citgo thing happened it was iniated by the snake.

Just an observation, she could have passed the Citgo by since Cobra's truck is a bit hard to miss, especially if she felt he was obviously working for the "other side".

I suspect she might well have thought Cobra was working for Haleigh's side since she didn't pass him by and ended up relaying her story to him.

They have done a horrible disservice to Haleigh by allowing both sides of her family to become targets of the media and others because they refuse to clear the ones publically they KNOW are innocent of any wrongdoing in this scenario.

Cobra, imo, is not even a player. He is nothing more than a sideshow with nothing to offer in solving this case. He was brought in via KP and has done zip besides try to muddy the water to mislead people, imo. I doubt LE has anything to do with the likes of him as he is probably seen as a liability to the case.

LLL with all due respect, and no, they should not rule out anyone, but because of Misty they started out on the wrong foot simply because Misty said someone took Haleigh. Then, after being bamboozled, they ended up back within the people in the home which is where they should have started. My personal opinion is they finally got over the hump of Mistys youth and improbability of comitting or covering a crime and now are finding that nothing but Mistys word is proving this to be a stranger abduction. I believe that in order to find Haleigh now, they have to wait for something to give and I believe they are watching RC and MC. Again we have not been told what evidence they have found, but to me, I think that is because they have not found any from a stranger abduction, to tell. MOO

The only fact I can say 100% is Haleigh is missing. Where is she?? I think I'm just going to start over and whip out what some people have said and start new. Maybe we have a missed something along the way.

ITA. Maybe the State of FL needs to offer a reward for Cobra to be interested in him. Or maybe there is a very good reason that they never mention him [and it is NOT because he's dead, btw.]
