Richard Cody Hall allegedly busted into the home of his estranged wife and two kids in Redstone Township on Sunday, ignoring a protection-from-abuse order, KDKA reported, citing prosecutors.

“He physically broke a window door to get into the house and began attacking her with a knife,” Aubele said

Hall's in-laws also stepped into stop the attack. He allegedly stabbed his mother-in-law and repeatedly kicked his father-in-law in the head while expressing his desire to kill him, Aubele said.
