I'm not convinced now that that was an actual photo taken after she was rescued. It's kind of an odd, super close-up photo to release to the public. I haven't seen anything like that released in previous cases.

"Allentown Police Chief William Reinik said Esterly signed AY out of school multiple times and that their relationship had been "going on for at least a year." "

No love for the creep from me. But I do think sentences should be commensurate with crimes committed. He didn't murder her so maybe not life.

Yes, her clothing is different. I'm wondering if perhaps the smiling picture is not after they found her but is evidence they found in pictures on Esterly's phone or something. Or perhaps it was incorrectly reported as being taken after she was found. I can see the picture when I image search but I can't get to any of the original news stories about it. Which makes me think a mistake was made-- either in releasing the photo or in describing it as being after her rescue. JMO.

ETA: Just did some searching and the seat she is sitting in while wearing the striped arm top is the same type of seat/head rest as a 1999 Honda Accord. I'm guessing that photo is evidence and whoever released it got in trouble. JMO.

I did think that was an odd reaction for her to have.. that big ol' smile. Would make sense that pic is from a different time frame.

So gross. So they can pop him for worse than corruption of ammonor of they can prove sexual activity under age 16. When did she turn 16?

I bet the fighting was the wife becoming uncomfortable with the interaction and maybe telling him that and saying she didn't want AY around anymore, while Daddy Dearest acted defensively and tried to say AY needed the attention.

After they were located, I wonder if the Marshals didn't take a pic of AY and send it to her mom to show her she was ok. Maybe the Mom released it. I'm actually not convinced the other pic in the dark clothing is AY.

The pic of in the car doesn't seem to match the walking pic. In the car she is wearing a sweat top with white stripes down the sleeve, not present in the walking photo. Different times?

That pic doesn't look like her to me at all, even though the face is blurred out. ??

I believe she turned 16 in December.

Also, regarding the picture, I believe it was first posted in Mexico's MSM and was picked up by the US MSM.

The caption says it was "after she was located in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, on March 17, 2018" and credits the US Marshall Service as the source of the photo. I still think that "after" might be a mistake or the photo was mistakenly released. JMO.
