I think this perp was masquerading as much older. She definitely looks older to me. There is a FB page of someone with her name that states she went to college. Don't know if we're allowed to link because she claims now to be a minor.

Definitely agree. As you said, she presents herself as a college student on her FB page so I have no doubt she lied about her age. I am local to this case and he was very much loved in the community for his rescue work with cats and his support for veterans. The rumors swirling are vicious and it's so upsetting to see all of his good works being tarnished by his tragic death. If she was there for what people are saying she was there for, I truly believe she lied about her age and he had no idea she was only 14. JMO.

Unfortunately, I think there will be much more to this case that comes out. Just a hunch. While I don’t condone murder as a general rule, I do think there are situations where it’s.... understandable. I suspect this might turn out to be one of those times. MOO

I suspect AS was posing as someone older and of unclear gender as a disguise, to conceal her identity and construct the appearance of the scenario being gossiped about, thus hoping to divert and delay the investigation. At the beginning of the investigation the police seemed to leave the possibility of the appearance being reality open, but quickly redirected the investigation, and upon identifying the accused they don't seem to buy it at all. Neither do I. Her motive was robbery, and she assaulted the victim when she found him in a defenseless condition. That is what the charges reflect. It is a shame that the victim's name is being dragged through the mud without any public evidence aside from the accused's costume and the initial police description of the suspect.
