PA PA - Alicia Markovich, 15, Blairsville, 26 Apr 1987

I’m late on watching this video but I just want to comment how well done it is, so much of YouTube true crime nowadays is rife with rumor, innuendo and creating sensationalism for clicks and profit, jmo.
I’ve never seen this creator before but she is so respectful, calmly keeping with the facts without added unnecessary speculation and embellishment (19 lie detector refusals! Stolen, burnt car!), beeping out the mentions of people’s names so they aren’t stalked by online trolls, promoting the mom’s and friend’s efforts they continue to make to find Alicia..
They made a great choice to interview on this channel, jmo.

I agree with all of the above. I really like her style and integrity.

Sorry, if I got it wrong. Who is running the other (non official) FB page?
The person that runs the .com page is not affiliated with my remembrance page or the original justice group or the other accounts mentioned we prefer PSP to be given any and all tips or information pertaining to Alicia’s case so they can be properly investigated… the wrong number was put on billboard therefore sadly psp did not get any tips it may have created…

(may or may not have anything to do with case but was an interesting find)

Regional, Indiana Gazette Friday May 6, 1988:
Saltsburg - According to state police from Kiski Valley a 1987 Subaru valued at $9,500 owned by J. Markovich of Dunn Avenue in Blairsville was recovered destroyed by fire along Loyalhanna Township Route 939 at 6:50 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the vehicle had been stolen from near the Blairsville man's residence between 1 and 6:50 a.m. Thursday.

This is interesting somehow. There is a little more then a year between Alicia's missing and this incident. Could it be that J. Markovich was targeted by someone who hated him for some reason (and also took Alicia) or could this have been done by someone who blamed him for the disappearance of Alicia. Or did the police started poking around again and the fire was to destroy evidence? It's a car from 1987. Is known if he already had it when Alicia went missing?

I noticed J.M. is telling different stories through the years, about what happened when Alicia walked out the door. The sunglasses is a kind of strange detail, IMO. Did his then girlfriend/wife ever said anything about that day?

we always speculated the car burn up was a cover up but absolutely nothing can be done without the car at this point… He is married to the then off and girlfriend from that time… the purple sunglasses was a friends she had borrowed them, it’s been one of the only consistent details…

What if?......sorry, for being graphic.....could it be possible...father (and girlfriend/wife) feeling the ground under his/their feet getting hotter, due to further investigation, he/they dug up the remains of Alicia from her original burial place....she was transported in the car to the place it was found and her remains were reburied somewhere near there. To get rid of the evidence the car was set alight. Did they ever search the area where the car was found?
