*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 9am ET) - PA – Alina Barnes (Diggs) (22 mos.) (Oct. 15, 2018 reported missing, Philadelphia; found Oct. 16, 2018) – *Nyishia Beverly Corbitt (33) (GF of Alina’s father) arrested & charged (10/18/18) & arraigned (3/20/19) with murder, possessing an instrument of crime, falsifying reports, tampering with evidence, obstruction of justice & abuse of a corpse. Plead not guilty. Bail denied.
11/7/18 Update: Preliminary hearing continued to 1/8/19.
1/8/19 Update: Status hearing on 2/22 regarding if she should be moved to protective custody in another prison. Preliminary hearing was moved to 2/27. 2/27/19: Waived her right to preliminary hearing. Formal arraignment on 3/20. Has been moved to a different prison & put in protective custody.
3/20/19 Update: Next pretrial conference hearing on 4/11. 4/11/19 Update: Had pretrial hearing on 6/26. Next pretrial hearing on 8/21. 8/21/19: Next pretrial hearing on 10/16.

I just checked and the hearing is still scheduled for tomorrow in room 1105. It probably won’t happen, but I’ll check again tomorrow and see what they say.

I just checked and on the Docket Sheet it still says pre-trial conference scheduled for 04/29/2020. On the Court Summary it shows the last pre-trial conference on 02/12/2020 but the next action, next action date are blank now. I’ll check again tomorrow.
