Man and woman charged with 'abuse of a corpse' after a body wrapped in plastic is found behind an apartment house

  A man and a woman have been charged following the discovery of human remains in a shallow grave behind an apartment house in northwestern Pennsylvania.
  
  Erie police have reported finding a body wrapped in plastic Saturday that was exhumed by detectives and members of the Mercyhurst University forensic anthropology team, The Erie Times-News reports.
  
  Thirty-three-year-old Antonio McLaurin and 28-year-old Elizabeth Taylor are charged with neglect of a care-dependent person, aggravated assault, abuse of a corpse, conspiracy and evidence-tampering.
  
  Investigators said in an affidavit of probable cause that the remains are those of a man for whom the defendants were caregivers.

Oh my heart can't handle this today... our babies and elderly... the most vulnerable. There just seems no end in sight for all the victims. I needs to stop!

Oh dear God, I don’t usually comment on such obvious horrific crimes, but I feel I must in this instance. I am so sad about the unspeakable treatment Mr. Force received. 2Hope4 is right. Children and the elderly are our most vulnerable potential victims. We need to do a better job of protecting both at risk groups!
