I mean the scent caught by dogs and disturbed soil near the house.

Does it mean
her body was put there temporarily and later moved somewhere else?

Because, surely, Police checked this spot, no?

I have been wondering this same exact thing. I read the entire affidavit and it mentions that the cadaver dog hit on the area of disturbed soil and the detective saw a small piece of blue tarp and burned debris. So naturally, you’d think that whole area would have been excavated, but I do not believe that it was. I’m hoping that I am mistaken, and that the details were just left out of the affidavit.

I’ve been wondering about this too. After seeing the Audi battery data in the affidavit, it seems like he could have moved Anna’s body from the home in the early morning hours of 4/4/17. If this is the case- then her body may have been somewhere in (or near) the house for almost a week if she was murdered in late March. Then a neighbor saw a blue tarp being hung outside to dry in the “first week of April”. Sounds like he may have cleaned the tarp then burned and buried it. Even if her body was never in that area of their property, the dogs still may have hit on the burned tarp if it was used to store and move her body.

Looks like the preliminary hearing was moved from last week to end of June. How do you think Gould will plea?
