PA PA - ANTONIO RODRIGUEZ Kensington Strangler

  • #161
It depends if he's targeting prostitutes just in Kensington or generally.

If generally, since I'm one of the resident experts on hookers in Phila, (Well, I did exchange e-mails with the DC Madam. Actually a nice lady.) :), these are the areas I'd guess.:

About a 2 block radius around Broad and Poplar; that's where the Flora Street attack was.

Someplace along the rail line (Sedgley and Glenwood) west of Front and east of 12th. (That's fairly close to the current attacks.)

Elmwood in Southwest from 60th to 70th Streets.

The way LE is talking, it looks like they think he'll stay in Kensington.

I'm worried about the Flora Street attack. It could be the strangler or it could be a robbery by someone else.

Thank You! they are saying he getting bolder!! I listening to scanner link in Philly has no idea where it really at:crazy:

I agree On the Flora St.

I don't know if this is the same one but the nov 28 attack on Bucklus st near Jasper by man with a box cutter. That one doesn't seen to match the MO.:waitasec:

Is there anyway this guy moved from AC to LI and now working Kensington.

I really susprise no one asking LE if ac and Li could be connected.

Plus POI is so young....

The residents are anxious, but the police commissioner warns vigilantism won't be tolerated.

Philadelphia police hunt suspect in 3 stranglings

The clamor around the attacks led to the creation of a Facebook page, "Catch the Kensington Strangler, before he catches someone you love."

People have filled the site with comments and theories about the case, but someone also falsely identified a suspect, leading to a crowd outside the man's home. Fearing a vigilante mob, he called police, who later publicly declared his innocence.

On Tuesday, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey warned against such behavior even when the culprit is identified.

Strike 3: DNA confirms another Kensington Strangler attack
http://www.philly.com/philly/news/2...irms_another_Kensington_Strangler_attack.html

snip
xxxxx, a resident who participates in town watches, said he doubted he'd abide by officials' plea to call police and not go after the suspect on his own.

"This guy is really sick, and I've got something to tell you: If the police don't get you, the town watch will get you and the neighborhood will get you," he said. "No violence. I will grab you and put you down on the ground and hold you for police."

I x out the guy name. this is not good I hope they get this monster soon before a innocent person is hurt again.

If generally, since I'm one of the resident experts on hookers in Phila,

Have we met J.J.?;)

In all seriousness. You mentioned South West. How about West? Off of 52nd? I'm not familiar with that area real well, but ummmmmmm knew a few women that worked out of there.

Plus do you think the "girls" off of 13th to 15th Lombard, Spruce etc?

Nobody is safe. Prayers for those still out there.

We can't forget the girls on Frankford/Kensington Avenue from Church up to Erie.

T, I haven't looked at the Facebook yet. Trust me my mom told me about it though. In rail line do you mean the El? The Frankfrd El.

This guy better pray the cops find him and not the folks from Kensington. He'll get more than a Kensington sandwich.

JMO, but by now he's disrupted an entire cosmos that works like a well oiled machine. Drugs, tricks, prostitutes, drugs, drugs, drugs. Drugs are big business. They employ alot of people that have no other income. This is how they buy their kids their expensive Christmas toys and their own new clothing. With all the law down there it has to be messing up the flow of things.

I'm mentioning that not with a lack of empathy and sympathy for the women that have been murdered. They'd have said the same I am certain. Poor girls. I can just say though that being dope sick on Christmas can't be pretty. Nor can death at the hand of some monster.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:Well then they should have locked up the people that beat the living crapolla out of the guy who raped that little girl who was on her way to school.

Unfortunately I can't think of that guys name right now. I'll look it up. They have ironically enough video footage of that to make a short film. A gang of people chasing that creep down and whooping his tail. I also believe they had reward money to find that guy.

So, if someone finds this guy and whoops him and brings him to the cops half alive they're going to arrest them? Hmmmmmmmm.

NOW they have significant reward money. NOW! Poor Elaine was just as dead as these other girls. No reward money. Well, a small amount no doubt friends of her family had to scrape up. Now we're talking $30,000?

I know it doesn't seem fair, Filly, but the purpose of the hefty reward isn't to get justice for the victims, not the bulk of it, anyway. After three random murders and at least one attempted murder in a short time span, it's become obvious the guy is a threat to the community at large. So you've got a couple of big businesses tossing in a chunk to aid the community.

As for residents taking matters into their own hands, LE is obliged to issue that statement. The mob mentality feeds on itself, as you know. The last thing your town needs now is rioting in the streets. Now, if the citizens find the right guy and lay a little Be Gone on his azzzzzzzz, I doubt we'd hear a peep out of the Commissioner.

I think people in Kensington should be leery of the friend, relative that tells them "I better shave so no one confuses me with this guy" and then does it. I would expect this guy to make some effort to change his appearance and maybe look to move out side of Kensington, I bet with all the police presence in that neighborhood, you could go 30 blocks and have next to know one around.

This is why it's so important to take anything read on the internet with a grain of salt unless it's from a reputable news source or linked to a reputable news source. That guy could have been killed. He could have been named by someone who has a grudge against him.

I sincerely hope if a citizen captures this guy that they don't kill him. I'd be willing to bet there are more bodies out there and the only way to find out about all of them is if he is willing to tell the police everything.

He may never tell them but if he's dead he'll never have the chance. JMO

I've never seen any and I have been in that area after dark. It is possible for them to be on a side street.

I have not seen any there since the mid-1990's.

Really, the City cracked down on the more open stuff under Rendell and Street.

There are a few "open air markets," but the prostitutes have become much more discreet in the last decade or so.

O.K. this is the 411 from Filly World. Being the recluse that I am minding the mother I miss out on alot. However, Filly has friends. Of course they are not in high places, but rather low. In all fairness they were down and out and rising above it all.

Mind you this is pure speculation. People believe that this guy has something to do with drugs. Duh! Rather recovery. I won't put alot out there, but I think in the begining of the thread I mentioned it.

Elaine was in recovery. I'm not sure about Nicole, but I don't doubt at some point she had tried her very best to overcome addiction. Casey had been trying to get into a rehab. Believe it or not that is no easy feat.

So is this guy someone that had been to meetings? Does he reside in a recovery house? That I think not because somebody would have dimed him out especially now with the reward. Out of all the poor girls out there he murdered girls in the midst of them getting clean. The time when you probably are most vulnerable.

As I said before. All drug addicts are not prostitutes and all prostitutes are not drug addicts.

Whatever is divulged in the rooms is anonymous. Outside at the diner or the coffee house isn't. According to my two friends that is all they are talking about and it's their theory this guy definately has knowledge of who is trying to get clean.

We also have to consider it's all speculation and rumors are crazy within the NA circle often. However, these people know the streets. I'm not saying they are right, but it's worth a thought. I just pray someone wants that loot and turns this guy in.
