Elaine was in recovery. I'm not sure about Nicole, but I don't doubt at some point she had tried her very best to overcome addiction. Casey had been trying to get into a rehab. Believe it or not that is no easy feat.

So is this guy someone that had been to meetings? Does he reside in a recovery house? That I think not because somebody would have dimed him out especially now with the reward. Out of all the poor girls out there he murdered girls in the midst of them getting clean. The time when you probably are most vulnerable.

As I said before. All drug addicts are not prostitutes and all prostitutes are not drug addicts.

Whatever is divulged in the rooms is anonymous. Outside at the diner or the coffee house isn't. According to my two friends that is all they are talking about and it's their theory this guy definately has knowledge of who is trying to get clean.

We also have to consider it's all speculation and rumors are crazy within the NA circle often. However, these people know the streets. I'm not saying they are right, but it's worth a thought. I just pray someone wants that loot and turns this guy in.

I agree with the rehab being hard to get in. In Delaware years ago a friend came to me and ask me to take him to rehab. I did they would not take him because he wasn't high. I had to let him get high and take him back:banghead:

or in rehab?

I don't think he has long sideburn or that little thing under his chin anymore.

That map is confusing. It's not you, Harmony.

They have a triangle for Allison Edwards who is deceased although they have another POI in her murder.

They have a blue square where Nicole was murdered.

The red dot is right around where Elaine was murdered, but the cops hand is blocking if there's a triangle or square or whatever.

I'm going out on a limb and saying it the Somerset El stop. More rumor is that they were scanning the hands of men when they got on the El. I don't think that's legal.

JMO I think the El plays a big role in all of this. That's a main hub of transportation for us coming from Northeast Philly going way out to Darby.

It is also a lifeline for addicts if they don't have a car. When you have say a heroin addict or crack addict who lives in the "Great" Northeast it's a mere six stops away to get to Somerset. Around four if you want to get off at K&A where you then can walk to closer locations. I'm not 100% sure if it's still that way, but it used to be.

I'm guessing it's Somerset that big red dot. I'm not good with maps though. It may indicate Ruth Street and Hart where poor Elaine was murdered. There's also a Hart Lane. Just figured I'd throw that in for the record. It always amazed me that such a pretty name was given to a street with so much strife.

O/T After my dad died we found this really cool picture. Polaroid. It's like five Detectives smooshed in the back of what looks like maybe a bread van. In the background is one of those blackboards you write on with magic marker. The map was from MOVE. All you can see written real big was POWELTOWN (sic) and a crude line going across another street.

Yep, our Police Officers here have to work out of filthy precincts with roaches, rats, mice and in some cases cancer causing agents from old materials. Please pray for them if you pray. No easy job is it for them.

Oh yeah cardinal rule you don't go to rehab straight. Crazy right?

Weird you would say that. For a time Philly was the destination for folks from Delaware to come to for their dope. There's actually a sweet, pretty, talented young girl that died in Philly from an OD who also was getting clean who came from Delaware. Her mom is a huge force. She's helped many people after her DD's demise. Her initials are EA. Her mom has a website. It's so sad how her family was searching for her. Poor kid had a weekend off from rehab and wound up back "down the way". She died in some sick old dudes house. The last her family got to see of her was on a screen at the coroners office.

Yep, no going to rehab clean.:rolleyes: Again I hope your friend is alright. There's some very good rehabs here. Well one in particular. To get in you have to sit and sit and wait and wait. Almost seems like a test. Meanwhile you have a room of jumpy people getting sick and that can lead to no good. Ultimately though it's up to the individual how bad they want it.

Again, you are a good friend and a good person.

Attacking from behind? Some say he offering money. But we not heard that from the attack victims.

T, I think it was they still had tops on, but no bottoms. I have to reread.

The woman that survived the attack if that indeed is him said he asked her if she wanted a date. So, he'd have to have money. Then again we're talking about a lunatic. That woman said "No thanks. My boyfriend is waiting for me". So her sixth sense/gut told her something was wrong. Still he hid in the alley and smacked her over the head with a brick.

For the women to go into weeds, alley, abandoned house with him it would be on the premise he had drugs or money. Walking along with someone on your way to cop drugs is not unusual. Great minds think alike. Going into secluded places with them? No way unless they had something you needed.

I say no way he's a dealer. Other dealers would know. Oh they know. It's their business. A dealer would not call attention in any way to where he works. Example being right now alot of people are losing alot of money beause of the police prescence.

That's a good question about the clothing though. Is he taking anything? Panties, jeans, shoes?

At least while I was working for DPW, you could get up to 9 months of cash benefits for being in rehab.

I also think that if another dealer saw a chance to take over another territory there would be an anonymous call to the tip line from him pronto. JMO

If these are girls who are rehabbing I'm thinking maybe a rehab group leader who they'd trust. Just a guess.

If the survivor was attacked by the same person, wouldn't she immediately recognize a rehab leader?

Good call Steely though I think JJ is right. The women gave the sketch so they didn't know him.

As for the dealers it doesn't work that way. More than one person has a corner. If the guy were a dealer he'd be working with quite a few people. Diming him out wouldn't do anything really. It's more that you keep it semi quiet. I mean it's blatant but you don't want more attention drawn. Example being they aren't going to scream, rant and rave. Maybe pull a TV set out of someone's house to watch a football game so they don't abandon their corner on a Sunday, but it's shifts. There's never just one man.

I'm not condoning it or glorifying it, but it's pretty well orchastrated if ya ask me. There's always someone higher up and if ya went around murdering women you'd have to answer to someone why all the cops are around. They are always around, but there's just so much they can do and not so many of them to do it.

No, I may go on the theory he's been in the rooms. Has been at least. Let's be realistic. Although it's frowned upon to meet someone while trying to get your life back together and to start a relationship alot of those guys have one thing on their mind at that point besides getting clean and that's to hook up.

Sorry for the long posts. Just thinking aloud as well. For all we know he has nothing to do with any of that and visits his mom twice a month in the neighborhood. It's really scarry though if he's targeting only women with trouble with drugs he can just take his butt down toward Frankford which is not far away. Heck, he can go to Torresdale Avenue from Erie all the way up to Cottman. There's concentrations of prostitutes all along there in stretches. However, I think he knows the neighborhood. I think he's lived or worked in Kensington.

Oh Filly I been out Delaware and the Philly area for about 15 years. A lot of the drugs came from Philly and Dc it the big cities everywhere.

It sad because Phildelaphia is great city. I had my oldest dd in Overbrook area and plenty of cousins still there.

We all read about the bad stuff in the cities and forget what beauty they have.

I will always remember the mummer parade. So much fun :)
And there nothing like going to Philly Christmas shopping :)

Sad to say I have not heard from him in years. You made me think of him when you posted about rehab. I was so upset that I had to sit and watch this guy get high and drunk to safe his self. The really sad thing is he came to me because his wife wouldn't take him. She also was on drugs too...:(

I seen him when he got out and he was getting divorce and fighting for custody of their little girl.

A few years later I ran into him and he had got custody I do pray he still sober today. I don't know what happen to his wife It sad but we moved on and lose touch with people who touch our life.

I left the east behind for a farmer:blushing: another tib bit:crazy:

I praying that this monster is off the streets of Brothley Love before Christmas!!!! :furious:
