Mahoney's and Piacentini's bodies were in the same position with plastic bags over their heads, while Goldberg's was not.

Police said a third assault victim was pulled into an alley earlier this month. Despite being choked, punched and hit on the head with brick, the 33-year-old woman escaped, and her assailant fled the scene, according to a police report.

  • a criminal profile expert said yesterday police are likely searching for a blue-collar man in his mid-to-late 20s or early 30s who has rage issues and scopes out his victims

  • There's nothing to indicate that any of them were wearing jewelry that was kept by the perpetrator," Blackburn said, "but it's an idea that we're not dismissing, either."

All three women were found partially nude in vacant lots, and Piacentini and Mahoney were found positioned face-down.

    • Earlier in the day, police officials released new surveillance footage of a man who
      • beat and choked a 33-year-old woman in an alley on Sergeant Street near Kensington Avenue early Dec. 6.
The alley was the site of a similar attack Oct. 31.

Darby said the man appeared to walk with a gait favoring his left leg.

Trying to put some facts togther:banghead:

Some of dates are not matching:waitasec:

    • The three murders are related. Now, are the assaults?

T, that's an excellent question. They're not saying anything about their pants or whatever bottoms they had on.

With the bags maybe after murdering poor Elaine he couldn't look into the faces of his victims? Maybe he figured it would help smother them as he choked them?

He's obviously got rage issues and is taking it out on the wrong dang people.

If there's a reward for $34,000 and nobody turns him in then nobody knows it's him. The sad thing is there was no reward until Elaine's family/friends got $4,000 together. When you have a huge amount of money like is up now someone usually turns somebody in.

On an O/T we just had two more police officers shot by the guy they've been looking for who shot a police officer already. Thankfully they are all safe, but one got shot in the head. There was a reward out for that kid and I say kid because he's 20 years old. He was hiding in his sister's house. Nobody turned him in.

I'll keep looking and reading about the articles of clothing. They may know and aren't revealing that.

Thank you for your concern about your former city. That is greatly appreciated, T!:blowkiss:

J.J., I'd say definately for the woman who was hit in the head with the brick. She gave a description for the second profile sketch. It's basically the same sans the soul patch. That's the video they are using as well.

Hmmm that sketch bothers me. :banghead:

What the soul patch mean?

Do a lot guys in philly had the long side burns and that little thing under the chin? is that the soul patch?

That sketch is bothering alot of people, T. I can't tell you how many people have said "That looks like half the guys in my neighborhood". Personally I think they're both good sketches. I'm not sure if they were done on the computer or by hand. We basically have only one artist left that does the sketches by hand and he's fabulous.

The soul patch is in the first sketch. It's sort of a goatee only smaller and up further then the chin. Yes, alot of guys have them. Mostly young guys but I'm old so go figure. What do I know? You're right though it's the thing under his chin.

Long sideburns? Personally on the video it looks like a beard to me. Only from the video though it appears to be a beard the Muslims grow. I do not know the name of it if there is one. However on the sketch originally I thought it looked taped. The young people call it taped.

All that they can do themselves. You don't need a barber to do it, but then again every time I pass the young barber shop by me it's packed and the guys are primping.

This is only me. Again I don't know much about anything, but alot of Latino's have really nice taped sideburns. They originally thought this guy was latino. At least some did. Well, he can be a black Latino. I at first was like "Hello maybe he is Dominican". The cops seem to know though so we'll go with that.

Gotta go tape my boyfriends sideburns and trim up his soul patch. Had to lend just a sliver of humor here because this is too disturbing.

I'm just asking. I was wondering if there was any DNA matching. It obviously fits geographically.

I see what filly saying about the beard. I like to see the sketch from a side view:waitasec:

Hold on I'll call Special Victims.;) I know what you mean though, T.

In all honesty I just walked to pick my DD up from work. Three. Count them three guys with dark coats and gray hoodies. It's freezing out. Mind you I should know better than to wear a white coat with a huge white feux fur hood. I should wear my dad's old flak jacket cause they say stuff to ya. I just carry on as usual and anybody comes too close will be going to the hospital. I've always gone on the assumption better safe than dead. Still we can't be cowering in fear at all gray hoodies.

oh no:furious: I been trying to keep up with page on facebook!

How crazy is that? Plus Philly Weekly has to fill us in. That's a small paper. Usually commited to picking on Pugs and the back pages are full of advertising for "spas". Admittedly I still enjoy PW.

Although this is taking away from what is important I have to say it. Vigilanties. Our Police Commish and Mayor are all flustered and giving warnings this will not be tolerated. Well, it was allowed when a gang of people beat the c*ap out of a child rapist before handing him over to the cops. Nobody got arrested and a reward was given. That was also in Kensington.

Trust me I was maybe the first person that said "Great he needs his a*s beat down". I do believe if it happened anywhere else in the city a bunch of folks would have gotten locked up as opposed to being heroic. So now the brass is relaying people will be arrested for retailiating? :waitasec:

Now on to the more important matter at hand. Our poor sisters who have been murdered. Their families who have to spend a holiday without the ones they love. I can't even fathom how awful it has to be for them.
