It's such a taboo thing out there. Women can actually meet other women out there and you chat and sometimes out of their mouths one will say "Well I don't **** ****". It's kind of like "Well neither do I, and I didn't ask ya, and it didn't occur to me to bring it up so you must"

It's a sad, ugly world. Most infuriating to me anyway and I have heard it numeroud times. You get a male that is an addict. He's getting it together. He speaks at a meeting or rehab and BAM out of his mouth you hear what a lousey junkie w*ore his wife is or his child's mother. Mind you this is an addict and youhear "Well she's someone's mother and that ain't right". :furious::furious::furious::furious::furious:

Well you're someone's father and you're doing the exact same thing so that ain't right either.

Sorry that's something gets me ticked obviously. Not to mention there's men out there as well. Then you get the whole gay vs straight thing. Just because a man has sex with another man don't make him gay when he's doing it to feed a habit. It is totally unbelievable the depravity out there. I am not giving any addict a free pass, butit always got me that some Mr. Everyday Joe is on his way to work picking up a prostitute and he's blameless and she's some scum. Meanwhile he goes home at nightto the Mrs. and the two kids.

I had to drop off a fruit basket and pick up dry cleaning, and it took me about a block from Flora Street. I didn't see any open prostitution.

Three blocks south of that was pretty active in past years.

At that time I lived two blocks down the street from where he did. One of my best friends lived just a few yards away from Shawcross' building. On the corner of Monroe and Alexander is a Dunkin Donuts that Shawcross used to frequent and ask the cops about any breaks in the serial killer case.

From what I remember they said the killer will keep a close watch on the media reports. So to test this they released information that bodies found in water were harder to link through forensic evidence and sure enough the next body was found in the water. The cops also felt he would return to look at his victims.

Arthur Shawcross was caught in 1990 when police intentionally left the body of this final victim where they found it with the idea that a criminal will always return the scene of the crime. The police were right and serial killer Arthur Shawcross we caught when he was spotted masturbating in his car that was parked on a bridge over the creek where his victim's body was floating. He was arrested and eventually confessed.



Hopefully this guy will screw up soon.

First, a Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating it.

Maybe it's a hunch, maybe it's the neighborhood, but I don't think this guy is bright. He's targeting a rather specific neighborhood so far (except Flora Street). Four of the attacks were in a two block radius.

If I'm a predator, I may "hunt" in the same territory. If I'm the prey, I'm going to move to another area. The strangler is now both predator and prey. He's staying put, so far.

I'm also not convinced he's looking at the media, for the same reason.

Cold, but no rain or snow over the last four days.

The site is less than 0.4 miles from the 12/15 attack, and less than 400 yards from the 11/3 attack.

(Of course, it could be an overdose or natural causes.)

She did had a good theory looking at the map of the streets.

She pointed out the bus stops. She thinks he could be riding the buses and after he attack get back on bus. It theory what do you guys thinks:waitasec:

Well this time they have a witness. The owner of the house. Larry Hollman should be able to give a description of the unknown guy he permitted in his home with the young woman.

This isn't an "official" rooming house. I know exactly where this is. I don't know the owner of course, but it's one of these deals where an older guy who has no heat or water lets you go in and "maybe" cook up. One guy lets the girl out and another guy. They stay the night. The guy leaves the next morning saying the girl is still sleeping.

It most definately could be an overdose.

T, your DD's idea of the bus stops. The El would be easier. Those buses are a PITA. Stopping every light or to pick up passengers. It's a real trip getting on one of those. That 3 or 5 or 60 are real treats. The only worse bus in the city is the "C". I rather walk a hundred miles than get that thing.
