Guradian Angel :) Glad to know your safe :)

You're our GA, T! Thank you for your kindness and concern. It means alot.:blowkiss:

Meanwhile we've established that JJ is not a chick and is a heck of alot younger than me. Thankfully neither of us have to be in vacant, weeded lots today.

Prayers for the family of all the young women that have been murdered by this man and all the women and men that are still suffering and out there tonight.

Here's what I don't understand. When Casey's body was found at around 5 pm on Dec. 15th, the autopsy reports were completed in time for the presser on the following afternoon. Why haven't we heard about the autopsy reports about this newest death, which was reported around 3:30 pm Friday, December 24th? I know it's the holidays but there's a coroner on call at all times, isn't there? This is of the highest importance, IMO, in Philadelphia.

Any local word yet?

They can be slow. My father died in a hospital, after a long illness, but it took several days to have the paperwork completed. Almost delayed the service.

I would hope they be on top of this one....

I fully understand that they can be slow but their speed with the results of Casey's autopsy proved to me that they could do a fast turn-around, if the pressure is on. Let's hope we get some results quickly so we know if this is the work of the same monster.

My prayers to that young woman's family.

T, your DD's idea of the bus stops. The El would be easier. Those buses are a PITA. Stopping every light or to pick up passengers. It's a real trip getting on one of those. That 3 or 5 or 60 are real treats. The only worse bus in the city is the "C". I rather walk a hundred miles than get that thing.

Prayers for this poor young woman.

respectfully snipped Filly :) The El is much easier and alot faster, that has been my thought from early on, some attacks near Huntingdon El station, couple near Somerset, the next one up. OT, wish me luck, I'm not driving in the snow tomorrow, hoping the 60 runs OK.

10-20 inches of snow predicted for Philadelphia tomorrow. That will delay the investigation and hopefully make it harder for KS.

Good luck babes. O/T but is that 60 still one of those accordian buses that give off fumes inside the bus? Years ago I was on the 3 bus going into Bridge-Pratt and this little boy saw one of those and goes "Momma I see a train bus". Cutest thing. The mom snaps "Ain't no such thing as a train bus".

Stay safe, Snacks. I think it will run alright.;) Horrible to ask when people are worrying who this poor young lady was, but did you have Stock's today?:) I missed mine.

Woman you should move here. We're a demanding bunch. I'm thinking they're waiting to find next of kin. Could it be?

I have a friend with a sister out there. Ex in laws once removed with a young girl out there. I can't even imagine. I can't. No word and these poor people are all holding their breath. If drugs are involved there's seldom ID on the person. If there's never been an arrest there's a big problem IDing someone.

My question is doesn't the guy who owned the house have some kind of idea perhaps who at least one of the people were using his upstairs? Even a hint? A first name even? Maybe?

Oh no doubt the kid shooting at the cops last night didn't help all this.

:doh:Just what we need, J.J.

IMO it could make it easier for the KS. I've seen addicts shovel snow like nobodies business. No public transportation? They'll walk or take one of those crazy gypsy cabs. Hoping with all the police prescence though the dealers won't be out. Otherwise it's business as usual. Just a little more desperation. Plus the neighborhood kids can pelt the addicts with ice balls. Always a fun sport.:(:(:( More use for gray hoodies!

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Not being a Philadelphia local, I am confused by the videos that have been distributed.. I have carefully scrutinized google maps but still continue to have questions about the area.

Two videos have been released, supposedly of the same night, area and time period.

The video was captured just before a man attacked a woman in the early morning hours of Dec. 6 on the1600 block of Sergeant Street, police say.

UPDATED VIDEO-- The suspect featured in this video is wanted for an aggravated assault which occurred on 12/6/2010 at approximately 2:00 am on the 1800 block of E. Sergeant Street

This is the google map I am looking at viewing at street level:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Kensi...010525&t=h&z=17&panoid=-ZGWuOqlbBG615J0FJfW9g

My question to Filly or J.J is: In the videos he seems to be approaching East Sargeant from opposite sides of the street in each video. In one he has the hood over his head and seems to be coming around the corner next to 'Global Communication Services' but on the other video he is approaching from across the street. Are these on different blocks of East Sargeant or was he walking around in circles looking for a victim?

Definitely a guess on my part, but the man looks like he turned the corner on the color tape and came into view on the black and white camera.

Looking at the photo, subject cross from the "west" side of Kensington to the east, walked a few yards past "Global" and then turn southeast of Sergeant Street. Are those videos from different nights or just different cameras?

Thank you J.J. for your reply!!

Hmmm, I am still confused... :waitasec:
ETA: I thought the first video was at East Sargeant because of the trees on the right side of the video screen. Does the "west" side of Kensington have trees? I don't see them on my google map but the map may be old.

I was under the impression they were from the same night/street/time period but it does appear to be from different cameras and angles... Moreover, he has the hood up on one but not the other...

No trees. The one that you have stills taken from, subject is crossing Sergeant, from the southeast side to the northeast side.

No trees on Kensington and Sergeant t-ends (it might start up again west of that) when it hits Kensington.

It looks like two different times, but both times heading down Sergeant.

I agree J.J. that it is two different times even though the summary write-ups accompanying the videos states the same date and time period.

Thanks again for helping to clear things up for me!!

wow seen the weather for that area. J.J and Filly keep warm. This storm might be what needed to corner SK. Anything on the girl that was found? I keep looking and nothing...
