GUILTY PA - Bonnie Sweeten for staged abduction, swindle, Upper Southampton, 2009

It doesn't give too much detail: Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkeness, Resisting arrest.

Barney from the Simpsons comes to mind. Outstanding citizen there.

I don't really call that much of a record. Could be he got stinking drunk at a ballgame once on his birthday and didn't want to go to jail. You never know. ;)

I just saw someone pull out their cell phone from their bra a few days ago -- that was a first for me - LOL!

I keep mine in my pants/shorts pocket. I never seem to hear it ring and the vibrate lets me know when I have a call. It freaks me out every time, but at least I know the phone is ringing:)
I hesitate to say this, and if I hear any snide remarks about "guys" and where our eyes go I'm gonna throw a snit, but...

... I had noticed in one of the beach photos of KC and Caylee that KC had her cell in her bikini top.

I thought it was a beach thing. You know, no purse?

Also in that article it states she was transferred to a school closer to home, wonder what school she is currently attending??

Why would someone transfer their kid with only a month left a school? I would deal with the inconvenience of it being further away in order to allow my child to complete that year with her classmates. It just seems weird to me that she would transfer schools so close to the end of the school year.

Busted once for public drunk shouldn't equate him to the town drunk or make him a bad citizen. He could be a nice guy.

I too put mine in my bra so I can hear it ring/vibrate. I have missed calls while it's in my purse.

My sister just did it because she left her husband. You can't send your kids to a school district that you do not live in unless it is a private school.

She is an adult and there were no custody issues according to the ex....so why would she worry about needing to "get away", she could load up her kids and just go without any legal objections from anyone. Why would she choose to leave her car--which to someone in a stressful situation is their MAIN ticket to freedom? Why leave your baby and your teenage daughter alone with someone that she wanted to get away from? The car is the main thing for me. She is an adult and LE would not have even looked for her, because she has the right to leave as she wants. She also had legal rights to her kids, so why dump your car if no one is going to look for it anyway?
Like I said just thining aloud and there is the whole cover up my real motive angle .. trying to think of other motives to this than the worst case scenario..

I agree with that Steadfast, its not impossible for a mistress to help. Just think LE would have made sure her older daughter or someone truly confirmed this is her voice before making a statement to the media that she did phone.

What makes sense to me is that she harmed her 9 yr old and made up a story with 'black men' abduction. That type of thing has been used by many people in the past. The guy who shot his pregnant wife years back claimed they were carjacked and Susan Smith are the 1st two stories that come to mind.

I don't think she disappeared to keep her 9 yr old with her, I think something more sinister happened making her come up with a story that is already full of holes.

OK now I am thinkin' out loud. If she harmed her daughter, where is mom? In the other cases weren't the persons who called in to report a crime, found right away, and only the victims were left missing?
i could be waaaay wrong here because I don't know the facts of one of the cases. Just trying to make some sense out of something that makes no sense at all :)

If they split up, Bonnie moving would be a good reason to take Julia and put her in another school. So that part makes sense.

Monday, Julia was with her father. Tuesday, Mom leaves baby and 15yo daughter to take Julia to the doctor. They never make it.

I have to go back one of my first questions. Is it possible that sexual abuse or physical abuse would have been discovered at the appointment? If Bonnie even suspected it...would she have confronted her ex or her current? Or could Bonnie have lost it and caused harm to Julia?

I would hope her first thought would be to get the other two girls away from him.

Oh... (sitting on my hands to avoid saying something about the reason Casey had the phone in her bikini TOP instead of...)

It probably is the reason...being at the beach tho. No where else to put it when you are addicted to texting like she was.

Let's say everything has happened as reported. How did Denali get a ticket on it at 2:pm at 15 and Chestnut st?. Nobody was in the car obviously when it got the ticket. I assume this is a parking ticket. Is the area metered parking? It would be dumb luck to get a ticket within a minute of parking the vehicle. In transferring people from vehicle, the Caddy had to be parked close if not beside it on Chestnut. This would not be wise at all for the perps to drop off a car in that area of town, where it would get a ticket quickly (?) and get tracked. I know there are many dumb criminals but this is crazy.

Busted once for public drunk shouldn't equate him to the town drunk or make him a bad citizen. He could be a nice guy and we have to remember he still has a 15 year old daughter who is probably online reading all this.

Point is, these charges dont make him a killer or a perv or anything that LE would look at as an MO for doing something to either Bonnie or Julia IMO.

does it not seem that lately almost every crime thats committed the story that is told from the beginning ends up not being the truth? I sure pray that this case takes a u turn from what its looking like.

That was an early question of mine too. Where is she hiding if this story is fake?

I'm trying to make sense of her inconsistencies, the pings, the possibility of the quickly ticketed vehicle and I mean REAL quick... she calls herself single back in March?

It bothers me that the current husband has not come to the media to beg for help either. No matter if they're split or not, they have a baby together.

I wonder what the local surveillance cameras are showing for B&E Jewelry. It would at least confirm if a Denali and Cadillac went down central ave.

Is anyone except me wondering how she had her cell phone with her in the trunk? Did the kidnappers conveniently toss in her phone? I don't see it happening.

If she was in an accident and called 911, she probably would have the phone in her hand when she stepped out to look for damage. They would have taken it away from her, imo.

Maybe the daughter had a cellphone? I hate to admit it but my 10 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter have cell phones. maybe they didn't think the girl would have one. My kids have their phones glued to them!! just a possibility.. this just seems so strange to me

As fas as the no damage. I use to drive a suburban (same as a gmc yukon denali). A car rear ended me. The hood of the car went under my bumper. Messed up their hood but no damage to my vehicle. Denali's have painted bumpers so there is a good chance the hood of the car could have went under the bumper and recieved paint transfer.

Praying for this family.
