GROVE CITY
Woman beaten multiple times

By Courtney L. Anderson
Herald Staff Writer

The slain Slippery Rock woman whose body was recovered from the ashes of her parents’ Grove City home was killed by multiple blows to the head with a blunt instrument, Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle III said Tuesday.

I don't think that she fell and got multiple blows to the head.

Well the oil candle would explain the accelerant, but not the multiple blows, or her husband saying he saw someone beating her for that matter.

Ok, I am going for guilty on this guy.

What a shame though, these cases are so damn frustrating.

I still was never given concrete proof he did it.

Wasn't concrete one of the central pieces of evidence against SP?

She could have gotten drunk, fell and hit her head on a table that had an oil candle going.
Expect that we already have a statement by Scotty boy that there was an unknown intruder in the burning house, beating her. That blows the "drunk, fell over, go BOOM to the head, knock candle over" theory.

JMHO,

LOL, I was talking about 2 Scotts. The one with concrete proof was Peterson.

I agree about Scott Dunn though, this is too out there.

I was also talking about two Scotts...both Dunn and Peterson. And from what I have read, the concrete evidence alone was enough to convince me of his quilt, concrete proof or not....pun fully intended. Couldn't help myself! :D

LOL, like I said I am the last living person who thinks that Scott P. is the biggest living 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, but not convinced he is a murderer.

Dont jump me for it, I am not a felon fan or anything. I just think we havent seen everything yet.

Hmm ... I almost think that the hubby deleted the MySpace accounts after getting wind of the posts here and at Steve's site. Maybe, maybe not. But some of Brandi's friends had posted at Steve's blog. So I know this crime has been surfed already by people who knew her.
I think this because after we were posting here, he went in and change the picture of himself and the girls hanging on him. And he posted a message on Brandi's MySpace acount to her. It almost seemed as if it was posted there for the world to see if you know what I mean.

Very strange, though, that the accounts have been deleted.
You know, even I was in a position where I'd done something wrong, at this point, I'd still not touch whatever was up on the internet. That stuff, the old versions, has been cached somewhere, perhaps even on some cyber-sleuth's desktop. As I said before, if a lawyer gives someone that kind of advice, that lawyer doesn't know squat about the internet and how such a thing will appear. It looks like a$$-covering.

He may have just shut it down to the public. Chances are that comments are coming hard and fast calling him a murderer.

Remember when you outed the Fifth Nail blog? Holy hell, I think the comments are in the thousands now. When I first read it nobody had really heard of it. A day later there were hundreds of posts.

It wasn't the fire that killed Brandi Dunn. It was a blow to the head.

Police are looking at messages left in cyberspace, hoping they'll provide important clues to in Dunn’s murder.

The Post-Gazette reports that Dunn had a personal web page. And police are taking a close look at it.

It appears Brandi left her husband a message two days before her death. It reads ‘I know you are still mad at me, but I still love you. I'm sorry baby’.

A neighbor found her husband outside as the fire raged.

“I saw her husband Scott and I said ‘where's Brandi’ - and he pointed to the house,” said Marty St. John, a neighbor.

State Police Corporal Cheryl Michalski tells said that computer technicians are now examining communications on myspace.com that Brandi had with her husband and friends to learn more about her.

Holy cripes, it made the news that the MySpace sites were taken down! I have a feeling it was Scott who deleted them and not LE, simply because of the message that it has when you go there. I think there was another case we were following where it was similar circumstances but not the same message. Taylor Behl's case and Ben Fawley's site. Maybe my thinking is fuzzy though.

This quote was interesting too:

"Police say technicians will also try to determine the credibility of the postings to make sure no one was posting under someone else's name. "

Ok ... another question.

If he saw someone beating his wife, and his neighbor asked where Brandi was, don't you think he would've told that neighbor "Help, someone was in there beating her!"?

You're right. He would have (should have) said something to the neighbor about the person he allegedly saw beating his wife. Unless, it was an 'afterthought'. I'm sure LE have questioned, or will be questioning her on every detail.

I read in The Derrick that funeral services for Brandi are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in the Cunningham Funeral Home in Grove City, according to her obituary. She will be buried in the Woodland Cemetery in Grove City.

Someone just commented on my blog that Scott has confessed, and that they "hope he rots in hell."

I emphasize, I have yet to confirm this.

Exactly! And what was his reaction? I would think he would be frantic?

Whoa! That was fast, Steve! Although I will await further confirmation, I believe it could be true!

If anyone finds the obit for Brandi, please post a link.

What does Semi-anonymous or basically anonymous mean, Steve? The comment looks to me like it might be someone trying to stir things up. The comment simply says he confessed and the poster hopes he rots in hell. Seems like something a troll might leave there. I dont know this, and I hope he did confess, but I'm not putting much stock in that comment. Thanks for your blog, though, it's very interesting to read.
