GUILTY PA - Brandi Dunn, 22, found slain in burned Grove City home, 14 Jan 2006

  • #181
On Nancy Grace tonight it was said that the police recovered a baseball bat, spent shells and some still loaded, computer printouts from the blog the two wrote on, computer. They showed pictures of the young couple. He is a pretty big boy. The house must not have burned to bad if the police were able to recover the items that I listed. He must have beat her to death with the baseball bat.

They talked about Scott chasing another person from the home. I thought at the beginning he said that he saw a person beating Brandy but he didn't say anything about chasing the person. Didn't he say that he couldn't get into the house because of the fire. On Nancy it was said that he chased the guy and came back to see that the house was on fire. Sounds like he has two different stories going. They also said that Scott isn't a suspect....ya, you bet he isn't

From what I have read he is supposed to have seen this man beating Brandi. But he couldn't get into the house????? He supposedly saw the guy exit the house out the back door and then chased him and lost him. Mud in the back of the house has reportedly not shown any signs of this however.

Seems to me if he saw someone beating his wife, his first instincts-concern would be to call for help for her. Get to her however he could to help her.

I also read that a neighbor came when he saw the fire and asked "Where's Brandi?" and all he (scott) did was point at the house.

Scott's whole story or stories are rediculous and his actions and non actions are entirely suspicious.

Esp. as he reported that the home was on fire. I mean it wasn't like he had time to run that guy down, then check to see if she was ok. He knew the home was on fire, reportedly chased this guy, then he finally calls the fire dept, all without even making an attempt to pull her to safety. Doesn't make sense at all.

His story, if we are getting truthful reporting is incredible.

He (allegedly) sees a guy beating his wife and chases him, but doesn't catch him. He comes back and the house is up in flames?! What are we to believe, that Brandi got up from being beaten and lit a match? You know, like how did the fire start, since he didn't say he saw the guy starting a fire. Allegedly LE cannot find any muddy tracks leaving the path exiting the back door, either.

C'mon! Even a moron can do better than try to peddle this boloney filled alibi.

Yeah, maybe she got up, found a gas can, spread some gasoline around, lit a match, and then laid back down to die. Right!
I have never heard anything about a neighbor mentioning seeing him running around chasing anyone. Just that he was standing there talking on the phone, watching the house burn down.
I would love to know if he was talking to 911, or who he was actually talking to.

Pardon if this info has already been posted but I have not yet read the whole thread.

. . . Justice can now reveal that Scott Dunn has a criminal record dating as far back as 2000.
According to court records, Dunn was in trouble with the law three times in 2000, for offenses that occurred on three consecutive days in December of 1999. In the first, Dunn was charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal conspiracy. In May of 2000, Dunn plead guilty to the burglary charge; the rest of the charges were withdrawn, and he was sentenced in July of 2000 to jail for a minimum of six months and a maximum of one year, 11 months and 29 days, plus court costs and restitution. He served the minimum sentence and was released to house arrest in March of 2001.
For the second December 1999 offense, Dunn was charged with burglary, theft and criminal conspiracy. He plead guilty to burglary and was again sentenced to jail for a minimum of six months and a maximum of one year, 11 months and 29 days. . .

You may be among the many people frustrated by the fact that no one's under arrest. Mangino cautions that there's no need to rush this investigation. Apparently there's no threat that potential witnesses or suspects are going anywhere.

Except to the local bar. (I know, I know, ALLEGEDLY):innocent:

Maybe he'll confess to someone if he gets toasted. I wish I lived there, I'd try to get him on tape.:D

I wish that they would arrest him before Sunday. He doesn't deserve to attend the Superbowl.

That would be fantastic. Even better, go bust him at the 365 bar while he's watching the first quarter of the game, but be sure to let him buy a round for all the ladies before they slap the cuffs on him, as I'm sure the jury would LOVE to hear about that....
