Hi everyone. Erie resident here. I'm trying to do some digging on this case, but I can't seem to find any info on where he went to high school. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Wonder why Madison NJ. It's a college town

I wish there was a way of knowing whether Bryan once lived in the Baden / Ambridge area of western Pennsylvania. He looks so much like a guy I went to school with and the name rings a bell.

How is it surmised that he was going fishing...in a PA February at 3pm with both temps dropping and light soon to start fading? Unless he walked the 2 miles, with his fishing gear (by which time it would be an even later start) he or someone else drove there.

I also can't think of anything good 16 olds would be doing hanging out at grain elevators...perhaps he had a inebriated accident there. Or if he fell off the pier, hypothermia would set in quickly and he could have traveled pretty far out (under cover of darkness) and ended up as far as MI.

I read about this case. As someone who was once a gay teenager, I thought to myself, "He was meeting an older man for a hook-up." Someone mentioned Larry Eyeler and I can see that or someone who was like him.

I was able to find his mother and father's obituaries and no, it looks like they stayed in Erie until the early 1960's until they both respectively died in 2007 and 2001.

Just had this thought- maybe Bryan was in a gang? I was reading that he had a tattoo of a skull that got covered by the tattoo of a rose. Perhaps a gang tattoo? That could play into why he would have disappeared. Is Erie a rough area?

Although I'm still learning towards the idea that he might have been a gay kid trying to meet men and then met the wrong one. Someone like Larry Eyler, who was active.
