Odd that she uses the name "Nebby" for her podcast. Rick Sebak used that for a series of half hour shows a few years ago. It definitely fits for a mystery podcast, I just wonder if WQED had anything to say about it.

She might have named her podcast Nebby since it's considered a "Pittsburghese" word. I call my co worker Mr Nebby all of the time. My one boss never heard the word before. (he was from Texas) "Oh the slang yinz guys have."

When I googled Nebby Podcast WQED did come up.

Oh I'm sure that's why. Like I said it's a fitting title for a Pittsburgh mystery show. But if QED has any sort of legal claim on it I can't imagine they'll sit still.

Did anyone happen to see the Facebook post from today from the Find Cherrie Mahan page? They searched a place of interest that was identified from multiple tips, and with the help of volunteer cadaver dog teams annd their handlers and volunteers, the two canines teams both alerted to the same area, independently. The same area they alerted to was specifically mentioned in a tip submitted as well as suspected perpetrators. They plan on revisiting in the fall with the search teams to do a more thorough search of the pinpointed area. Fingers crossed for answers and closure for Cherries family and the community and for Cherrie as well.

I have also just recently saw this letter submitted to crimejunkiepodcast.com with credit courtesy of Cherrie’s mom. Does anyone have any information about this letter. I was raised in the area mentioned and still have close ties to that area. Curious if anyone has any information on who it was from that area or what part of Walkchalk road they’re talking about.
