East Coventry Township Police Chief William J. Mossman said county detectives have been diligently working on the case for the past four years and have routinely updated him on their progress.

“This has been a particularly frustrating investigation since it has gone on for this long without a positive resolution,” Mossman said. “What you can be certain of is that Chester County law enforcement will not stop in our efforts in seeking justice for Ryan Benjamin and her family.”

Authorities ran toxicology tests but have not released the results, citing the ongoing investigation. They also have not announced the cause of death.
