OUDERTON, PA — The search for a missing Montgomery County woman, who has not been seen for more than a month, remains ongoing throughout the region, authorities and family members said.

Christi Troiano, 56, has not been seen since she left her family's home in Souderton early in the morning on April 25.

Her family released an updated missing person flyer over the weekend that offered new details. Troiano left at 12:30 a.m. in her black 2009 Acura TL after indicating that she wanted to harm herself, family and police said. At the time, family said they believed she was just going out to get a pack of cigarettes.

I'm just making note of this info on the "In Search" site (mentioned and linked in the article above). BTW there is also a very good timeline at that site.

The location is probably way off for it to be Christi:

"Police are investigating after a body was found Friday afternoon in the Lehigh River in Northampton County.

Authorities were contacted at 3:50 p.m. for a body spotted in the river from the bike trail near Route 33 in Bethlehem Township, a supervisor at the county 911 center confirmed."

<modsnip: quoted post was removed> The location where the body was discovered is approximately 2.2 miles from the last known location of 56-year-old Christi Troiano, who was reported missing on April 25 and whose vehicle was last seen traveling through the intersection of Orvilla and Cowpath roads.

When reached for comment, Souderton Borough Police Chief Brian Newhall said he was unable to confirm any details, adding he’s awaiting the identification from the coroner’s office.

The body was found on Wednesday afternoon inside a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 2100 block of Line Street, by a maintenance worker at the complex, according to North Penn Now. The Reporter has not independently confirmed that the body was recovered, and the identity has not been released by police or by the Montgomery County Coroner’s office.
