This is horrible... and I agree, its a really BIG coincidence that there was a sub this morning. Makes me wonder if the regular teacher is ok..
Snipped by me.
This is what I was thinking also. Also the sub needs to be thouroughly checked IMO.

I was about to say the same thing..... Why on earth would the sub think its not odd that Naiilla just arrived and then "mom" shows up minutes later to take her to breakfast? Makes no sense.....

Would a school even let someone sign a child out of school for "breakfast"?? <RS>

You ( or authorized person ) are allowed to take your child at any time, for any reason. In fact, you do not have to provide the reason. The schools do not have to "excuse" the absence unless it falls under their approved reasons.

Just got this alert to my cell phone as did my sister and her boyfred as well as people in the area. This is complete and utter BS that the girl was just taken out of the school like that. This should have never happened and the school should be ashamed about it. How awful!

The timing is so quick, it seems like she had to already be in the school when Nailla entered. Is it possible that it's someone who works at the school at least part time? I just don't see how she could be dropped off at 8:45, go into the school, go to her class, be requested, and leave the school just 5 minutes later even if the person followed them to the school. MOO

All of the above is true. And that is why teachers are not allowed to let anyone, including the parents, come into the classroom and take the child out. Only an office worker should be allowed to do that.

I think it is a pretty big coincidence and a lucky break for ' Tiffany' that there was a substitute teacher this morning. Think about it, how very 'lucky' that was.

I bet the regular teacher would have known Naiilla's mom was not named Tiffany and probably would have recognized her, hajib or not.

And if nothing else, the regular teacher would have said that the visitor needed to go back and wait in the office, and could not take the child with her right then. JMO

BBY I agree. Very very timely was Ms Tiffany's visit. I have no idea why I just lapsed into Yodaspeak. But you are right. That whole substitute and the timing of this abduction feels as if the person responsible had inside info.

The initial spelling they gave of Nailia's name was wrong when I copied it into the thread title. I tried to fix it but it looks like it didn't take. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you.

knew victim, victim reportedly (by the sub, without being mean I must say I don't trust this person's judgment as much as I'd like to) not distressed or worried when leaving with this person.

Knew victim's school schedule, where her classroom was or at least the classroom number.

Knew victim's uncle had a female friend named Tiffany.

Knew there was a substitute in victim's class that day.

WTH? Where is this child and is she alright?

I don't like this case.

This was very well planned and executed.

This case makes me feel

I haven't seen any video-too lazy. I wonder if Nailla's mother regularly wears a niqab or any other form of hidjab?

What is the correct spelling? Nailia?
NCMEC has it as Nailla.
So now we have seen Naiilla, Nailla, Nailia, Naila, Nalia.
Is there an official source?

Mayor Nutter just put up a $10,000 reward for info leading to Nailla Robinson and her safe return.

Where is this child's father? Does he live with the mom or is he sharing custody OR is he wanting more custody?

I just watched the video of mom, and as hesitant as I feel to say this, something doesn't sit right with me. I'm going to leave it at that.
