Found Deceased PA - Christopher Matt Bryant, 39, truck found off RT 870 in Clearfield Co, armed, poss suicidal, 7 Jul 2022

Pennsylvania State Police Troop J – Avondale took a report of a Missing Person Monday July 7th, 2022.

The complainant reported that she has not seen or heard from her husband since Monday July 4th, 2022. She identified her husband as 39-year-old Christopher Matt BRYANT, 257 N. Guernsey Rd., West Grove, PA 19390. BRYANT’S truck was located at a truck stop off RT 870 in Clearfield County, PA. Witnesses and surveillance place BRYANT at his truck last on July 7th, 2022, at approximately 2000 hours.

Christopher BRYANT is displaying suicidal tendencies and is believed to be armed with a firearm. A 302 Mental Health Commitment Warrant was obtained out of Clearfield County, PA. I didn't find any new updates on Christopher's whereabouts. According to his NamUs profile, the last text his phone sent was to "the woman in California". Who is this woman? Have LE spoken with her? Did he have plans to travel to that area and if so, has anyone checked CA to see if Chris ever arrived there?

Circumstances of Disappearance - BRYANT has not been seen by his family since Monday July 4th. The last outgoing message was on Tuesday July 5th to the woman in California. He was tracked by cell phone to Sapp Brothers Truck Stop in Lawrence Twp. Clearfield County PA where his truck tractor was located with his wallet and cell phone. He entered the truck stop and made a purchase then returned to his truck around 2030 hrs. Extensive searches were conducted in the area that his truck was abandoned to no avail.

Google Maps - West Grove (Chris' home address) to Clearfield, PA (last seen @ truckstop) ~3hrs. 40 mins.
