Police are searching for a missing man from Clarion County.

According to state police, 20-year-old Colt Snyder went missing last Friday after they found his vehicle abandoned near the Emlenton Bridge on I-80.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene to find the car running, but no one inside. Police reached out to Snyder’s family and said he was last seen leaving his home earlier that day around 4:30 p.m.

He’s described as 6’3”, 190 pounds, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, a brown coat, and gym shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Clarion.

The abandoned car: could be he was despondent and jumped? (sigh) OR, he wanted it to appear that way, and in which case he’s on the run to avoid the trouble he’s got himself into for stabbing someone (oh my…). Not good, no matter what.

1 and 2 years of concurrent probation plus anger management classes sounds like a heck of a good deal of a sentence for stabbing someone. I think your first theory is correct.

Considering his past arrest history, receiving stolen property, disorderly conduct, assault, and escape I'm surprised he is out. He has quite the history for someone only 20 years old. Praying he is just hiding out somewhere and is safe. Case Search

I reviewed the 'Case Search' link you included, some of the charges you list are a different Colt Snyder (DOB: 2/23/83).

I did see the assault charge which we're aware for the CS (DOB: 7/30/20) in this missing persons case along with a couple traffic citations for speeding.

The body of a missing Armstrong County man has been found in the Allegheny River in Armstrong County.

20-year-old Colt Evan Snyder, who pleaded guilty in a stabbing and was sentenced to probation in Indiana County Court in April had last been seen by his family on April 30th.
