Hmmm -- item 3: Note
Could be a handwritten note OR could be one of the two cell phones they recovered after the first one was handed over—there’s a popular model, the Samsung Galaxy Note, that a hasty LEO might’ve abbreviated simply as Note. Do we know if this list reflects property taken at the initial visit to the scene OR could it show additional property confiscated at a later date?

There has to be more.. there were 2 chairs allegedly used in the hanging, for one thing.. How come these warrants are not public? Are they and we just don't know where to search? I doubt they will tell us much more though... I'm in the humor to micro-analyse anything at all.

I believe there were 4 if not 5 search warrants, and each would have an inventory of items taken.

I don't think we have the dates of the searches, but we do have the descriptions of the warrants. Hold up and I'll retrieve that.

ETA: Search warrant dates, etc....

Police have served five warrants on the home at 2442 Route 143 near Kempton: Sept. 23, 24, 27, Oct. 2 and 4, releasing the first four to the public on Monday and the last one on Thursday. They all list either “criminal homicide” or “criminal attempt homicide" as the violation underlying the warrant. However, Adams said that’s procedural and does not mean the case is a homicide. Police haven’t determined that and the Lehigh County coroner’s office has not ruled on the cause or manner of death.

The Sept. 23 warrant states that investigators seized a cellphone. In the first four warrants, they also seized the wire the children were found hanging from, the chairs, two iPads, a laptop computer and an X-box gaming console, which would be inspected for clues into the deaths.

One warrant, on Oct. 2, was specifically for a dog

Isn't five warrants a lot for a case like this, if it really was a murder-suicide?

Does anyone know if they are still looking for the dog?

I’ve been wondering if the mom stayed on the phone with the 911 operator until first responders arrived...

This was the case in my personal experience (which turned out fine thank goodness).

Maybe it's yellow cloth.
I agree -- that's the closest I could make of that item on the inventory studying the authors print of other items.

Also, reviewing the warrants, the search includes DNA so that "cloth" may also be relevant.

It appears everything I've read for the warrants including the dog (given away) have been addressed -- except for the X-Box. I've not seen that inventoried so perhaps it was on a search warrant of it's own (like the dog).

I don't think so as these were warrants were issued on separate days, and some for just one item such as the dog, and additional phone. There was one warrant issued just for the dog, and appears another warrant looking for additional phone after son revealed mom had 3 phones.

MOO

I would think the 911 operator would be instructing her to get the kids down asap. I can't imagine the standard, stay on the phone, help is on the way was advised in this situation.

The 5 warrants isn't very strange since they went back when they learned more.
Cell phones, went back. Dog, went back. Xbox, went back. They get a new warrant each time.

You know I'm not well versed in brain death. Considering they were "revived" on scene, is it possible they were brain dead before they were placed on life support? Kept on life support for 3 days to aid in the investigation, talk about/do organ donation?

I think this is exactly it.

My Uncle was brain dead on scene and on full life support immediately upon arrival at the hospital. However, my cousins could not accept that their daddy was gone. Quite frankly neither could I.

We kept him on life support for those 4 days to give them time to accept that. We didn't want them to have any doubts or questions about if he might have "recovered." It cost some money... but was worth it for them all to have that peace of mind.

I think 3-4 days is a pretty standard time frame to be certain brain death has occurred. (My Uncle was not an organ donor candidate.)

If it had been faster (killing your victims?) then I'd have questions.
If it had been extensively longer (not wanting them to die, because murder charges) I'd have questions.

This is the one part of the story I don't have questions about.

I really want to know if the operator did instruct her to do that... and if so, what was her response.

might catch something from entire dispatch tape... like a special cutting tool required because of the nature of the apparatus? If she, mother had not the required objects to cut them down, did she inform 911 what was needed? Or maybe it was standard equipment in which case no special order for additional mechanical equipment would have been needed
