The court papers also quoted authorities as saying that Snyder also conducted searches for “how long to die” from carbon monoxide and for “almost got away with it,” a reference to a true crime television series on the cable channel Investigation Discovery, the paper reported.

The paper also cited an arrest affidavit which stated that in the weeks leading up to the hangings, Snyder sent at least three explicit photos of herself engaged in sexual acts with a black and white dog to an individual who was not named.

Not a chance in hell. And her behavior doesn’t match with legal insanity.
Thank you and all the rest here for staying on this case. I had to create some distance. All of y’all are awesome for staying the course.

Oh I know they were still alive, then on life support for a couple of days. I suppose I was thinking maybe she incapacitated them to the point of unconsciousness in a way that would correspond with similar injuries, then staged the rest. But it still would be difficult to get them into that position. I dont know, I guess I just can't fathom the scenario in which they would just climb up on chairs on their own, out of fear of her. But with all of the horrific details we have learned so far, it's definitely possible. :( .moo.

My hope is she told them they were going to play a game. Blindfolded them. And that they knew she put something around their necks but because of the blindfold weren’t aware of what she was doing.

Maybe even under the guise of "let's take this funny photo for Halloween..." Who knows. We will never find out :(.

I can't stop thinking about the teen. I hope he is in a loving and supportive environment.

If I could talk to him I would tell him that he is not a part of that woman’s evil and sickness. That he is pure and innocent and free to choose his life’s path and to choose goodness. There is nothing in his blood that connects him to this horror.

I am glad that he is at least an older teen, not a middle schooler. Hopefully his peers will refrain from bullying him about his evil mother and her sexual fetish.

Officials are still searching for more evidence, including a cell phone, but say they are pleased with where the investigation is at currently.

The children had been removed from Snyder’s care in 2014 before they were returned early 2015. Children Protective Services had been involved with the family until Nov. 2015.

As a result of the first-degree murder charges, Snyder is not eligible for bail.

I hope she tried to keep them from knowing what was coming. Unfortunately I think she probably enjoyed their terror. I am very glad she isn’t eligible for bail. I hope it doesn’t get worse than it is already.

So glad that the big brother has his first responder family. I hope he continues in that line of work. I also hope there are some normal family members to support him.

It’s psychopathic. I can’t think of anyone else who would do such a thing.

Me too. Big Potter nerd. I’ve read the whole series nine times.

There are some great things in there for kids. For those who don’t know, the main character was concerned because he had an ability that only bad wizards seem to have.

The quote about choices absolutely applies to kids of parents who are evil or abusive.

I hope the brother here gets therapy. Quickly. If unrelated strangers are freaking out how must he feel? What will this do to his psyche?

He needs someone telling him that he is different and there was nothing he could to protect them from this.

Poor lad.

OMG. This makes me want to puke. Poor sweet little kids. What a disgrace to the human race this disgusting woman is.
If mom was tired of her children why didn’t she just return them to protective services. She could then be footloose and fancy free.

The affidavit was released. Saw it on Facebook. Disturbing to say the least.

I am so sad for these innocent children and their brother. What a horrible, disgusting monster their mother was.

I've been looking all over for that.

It is unknown if Snyder was the one who signed off on removing them from life support systems.

Days after the children died, Snyder took to Facebook, updating her profile with a photo and the saying, “Words scar, rumors destroy, bullies kill.”

Adams also said that an occupational therapist who was working with Conner at the time said he doubted the boy would have been able to commit the murder-suicide, noting he lacked the dexterity to operate the dog lead’s clasp.

According to Adams, Conner was incapable of tying his own shoes.

Snyder has not entered pleas to the charges against her.
