That makes sense and what I think as well.

However, I have heard that NBC10 has allowed LE to use their copter previously.

In the words of Barney Fife, this could be "big".

Fingers crossed for success in capturing him. I just returned from errands and encountered Inmates Work Crew clearing Hurricane debris and while stopped an inmate approached my car trying to open door, thankful for auto locks. Deputy Sheriff finally arrived, he claimed he thought he knew me- carried off in handcuffs.

Always keep doors locked. One thing about inmate work crews, if they mess up on the job, they can be transferred back to the higher security prison, and the daily rate they can earn is much better for work release vs inhouse obs. That inmate will have consequences.

I am not getting anything of use from the scanner.

I think it is all routine.

I imagine the "control center" is on a freq not covered by the scanner feed.

I am not a mod and I don't have much experience with the scanner talk rules: I think people can transcribe what they're hearing, but the threads aren't supposed to have a lot of chatter/commentary, just the scanner info.
