I think it was a good tactic to use his mother's voice for the surrender message.

I hope for LE and his family sake, he surrenders without violence. I don't want them to have to live with the consequences.He seems very resolved not to go to prison anywhere though.

I adore Longwood! So glad they have trail cams there that captured him. Scary. I wonder if Longwood is closed today.

I love EVERYTHING Longwood Gardens! I wish I lived closer, so it could be a regular outing, but distance makes it more of a special event for us. I hate that they lost so much business over the weekend, but they made the right decision to close while this guy was still on the loos. I hope they catch this guy soon.

Sister lives on Quail Run, neighborhood just east of Longwood & 52 and south of Route 1. Her neighborhood is on lock down since early this morning. LE with search dogs arrived around 3 AM and were going through her neighborhood. Helicopters are circling non-stop. LE has her neighborhood surrounded currently, and Route 52 to the Delaware line is apparently closed.
If I hear anything else, I will post.

This guy will be caught. He's not far but they're hours behind. If he had a plan or an idea of where to go he would be gone already.

EDIT I forgot to comment on the goods he's acquiring along the way. It's my assumption that he's taking them from homes for food and evening warmth. He only really needs water. He's making no effort to change his appearance thus he will be caught. My thoughts only go to what else he could've picked up from the kitchen.

I just got back from a drive around. 52 is open south of 1, but most of the side roads are blocked. Greenhill and the ramps to Longwood, as well as Kendall have a heavy police presence. My thoughts are with your sister! Unfortunately on my drive around I realize that right now they really don’t have a good idea of where he is, they have heavy presence sites both sides of Route 1, and it looks like the perimeter has become pretty enormous. Add to that I hear there was a freight train that left Kennett this AM for Wilmington and it left before they could check it out. i am kind of hoping he was on it, since he would be gone from my area, but OTOH it would make it so much harder to find him in the long run. I just hope we got another sighting soon so we have a better idea of where he is.
