Dave McGinty, 57, of Slippery Rock crashed on William Flynn Highway in Slippery Rock at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
By the time police arrived, he had gone. EMS personnel and other witnesses at the scene told police McGinty fled into a nearby wooded area with a head injury.
