The Pennsylvania State Police Troop E - Meadville Station and the Meadville City Police Department continue to investigate the disappearance of Debra Sue Daniel, who was 61 years old at the time of her disappearance on August 13, 2022.
Debra Daniel lived in an apartment building, called Holland Towers, in Meadville City.
Debra Daniel was passionate about her love for animals, particularly dogs. She maintained contact with friends and family several times per day via telephone.
She did not have a vehicle but managed to regularly visit her mother at her mother’s nursing home, Edinboro Manor, in Edinboro.
Debra Daniel was last seen exiting her apartment at Holland Towers with a known male, entering a vehicle with him, and leaving the area.
Debra Daniel has not been seen by or contacted family or friends since this date. She did not call or text anyone after she is pictured leaving Holland Towers.
Originally, information was released to the public that Debra Daniel may have been seen at Edinboro Manor on August 15th, 2022, however, investigation has proven that information to be incorrect. She did not arrive at Edinboro Manor on August 13th or at any point after that.
Family and friends do not believe Debra Daniel would have willingly stopped visiting her mother, stopped having continual contact with her family and friends, or moved out of her apartment without taking her personal belongings. There has been no activity for her Social Security Number, social media accounts, or financial accounts.
Investigation has revealed the known male traveled to State Game Lands 69 with Debra Daniel at some point after leaving Holland Towers.
Debra Daniel was 5’02”, 140 lbs., with green eyes, and brown hair at the time of her disappearance. She was wearing a navy-blue short-sleeve shirt, dark pants, black shoes with thick white soles, rings on her left ring finger and left middle finger, a black lanyard, black sunglasses, carrying a cell phone, cigarettes, and a clear water bottle with a black lid.
The Meadville City Police Department began investigating this incident as a Missing Persons investigation, which is still active.
