I always get a bit hopeful when I see an older thread back on my list... thanks for bumping for Donna. Her family is in my thoughts. I check for updates regularly, but there aren’t any. :(

He had her set up to look like she was stealing. She had an attorney. She was absolutely confident that she was going to prevail in this case. Nevertheless, she regularly posted about how he was ******* her over. Others would chime in that he had come after them similarly. She also told a few people prior to her disappearance that he was stalking her and making comments about how she better watch where she sleeps at night. I'm 100% sure there is some sort of corruption with cops in her small town. They have said they have no reason to believe foul play, so they are not investigating. They won't even go TALK to her stalker because they don't have a reason to!

This is all really deeply upsetting and her friends just want answers. Please, if you know where I should go from here, I'm all ears.

Hi. I'm wondering if I'm guessing correctly when I think of who this may be.

It is unimportant but, as a person close to Donna, I feel the need to tell ~some facts~.

●The cops never ran her phone records
Or ●bank account. They told us they did but they did not ●never asked her friends or ppl she works with. Not even the people she saw the day she disappeared. ● Never went and searched her house. ●Never questioned any exes and didn't question anyone who she had static with. They threatened the family to stay out of their way before they could do a search but we now believe they just were giving room to the man who shall not be mentioned by name.
*speaking of him*. He had his own charges to go to court on where he faced 37 felonies and a simple assault on an employee which punished him by giving him 6 months of probation .

The dirt is deep in this town!#*% The never did a single thing for this girl. Told her former attorney that they are just gonna wait for her to be picked up on a traffic ticket or whatever and that's how they will find her.

Her son was days away from semester break in Belize & her daughter is still in high school. No 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 way did she leave on her own.

Should also be noted that her ex attorney was obsessively in love with her. ●Told Donna's family the cops told him info he cant share with them. Maybe true, maybe not. Can the police keep info from the parents who reported her missing?!?!

Yes. And they can also lie if they need to do further the investigation (whatever that may mean).

Well since they have done zero investigation so far, no need to lie. They never even called the people she was with the day she disappeared.

Interesting case. A convicted shyster who has been allegedly stalking the victim due to a fear of exposure regarding a fraudulent business transaction, and the victim is missing and car found abandoned. Does said shyster have a family member in LE or local politics? How is LE NOT looking into this? Anyone can search public property or private property (with permission) at any time. LE cannot restrict freedom of movement of private citizens on public property, except during an emergency. Walking around and looking is not impeding a case or disturbing evidence, as long as when you find something, don't touch it and report it right away.

None of us knew that and her parents are good, salt of the earth ppl who used to believe in the system. We did as told.

He has no family in LE but Sues people for a living. Small claims court mostly. In fact had a civil suit again local cops in 2018. He makes it a habit of turning ppl in to the IRS and anywhere that has an affiliated agency.

Donna's family has hired a private investigator. Her former attorney has been making claims that he or the cops *know where she is* but haven't returned ANY calls to the parents. I assume that is a lie because if she has an active warrant from FAILURE TO APPEAR it should be easy enough to get her back. The ex lawyer says he has all this info from LE but not *positive * of his truthfulness.

There were rumors she was with a former bf living in an RV park in Maryland. Tim Meyers---- the man cops won't question and she was afraid of----- has offered a reward of 1000 to find her. Unsure of his motive there.

This is the first time I have seen Donna's case. Is it possible she is in a witness protection-type situation? That's the first impression I get.

WITSEC is a Department Of Justice program. Poking around into the whereabouts of a protected individual might get you a visit from the United States Marshals Service.

Yea hired counsel and was fighting these charges----All related to the Tim Meyers deall.

Quite a few of those charges in the article were dropped at a prelim hearing and she was prepared to fight the rest with subpoenaed documents

I guess if the cops woulda checked her phone,asked the ppl she was w/ that day she vanished or did ANYTHING AT ALL we could all more easily be assured it was not foul play
