Lake City man gets aggravated sentence for abusing infant son

Erie County Judge William R. Cunningham sentenced Nathan A. Taylor to a minimum of six years and three months to a maximum of 12 years and six months.

Cunningham, who presided at trial, called Taylor’s treatment of his son “an egregious breach of your parental responsibility.”

On Wednesday, Zieja, Draven’s mother, told Cunningham her sorrow has not abated. When Draven died, she said, she was “dying inside as my heart was ripped from my chest. I had to bury my son but somehow have to continue my life.”

As for the fate of Nathan Taylor, she asked Cunningham to give him “the longest sentence possible.”

I hope and pray they perform a vasectomy before he leaves prison. He does not need to be around children, PERIOD. JMO, MOO. As it is, he has to go to a corner for a short while, without his dinner, and then life moves on ....MOO
