I started thinking of the save the date cards going out right before it happened.
This is a very valid detail I think more should look at. Is there a possibility that Sam, due to who his family was, a high tide of public embarrassment throughout his social circle and if that was the case, her leaving him finally was the ultimate snap decision to murder her? Often times with high society comes high delusion of thinking they can pay off people and get away with murder. Robert Durst, aka The Jinx, is a solid example of what influence & money does.

Does anyone else think wearing the uggs inside is a bit indicative of her having been out recently? Out with the trash?
Not the trash, maybe she was about to leave with her uggs on in escaping her abusive fiancé when he was suddenly gone to the gym. Her moment of opportunity. Probably the only footwear that'll keep her feet warm (ie - due to the time of year it was) but also be the least amount of noise when sneaking away just in case she has to make a getaway out the back if he comes back before she has time to get out.

I do wonder, this is common within abusive relationships for women, if she had a getaway bag stashed in the apartment, like hidden in a vent or something, and what if he found it randomly one day, waited to see if she was going to flee finally by making an excuse to go to the "gym" all this went down, caught her trying to escape, then beat her, and then murdered her.

Nancy Grace with Nate Eaton.

It seems impossible for Philly/Pennsylvania to admit they made mistakes.

So at this point, it would be nice if the feds could join this debacle and restore a sense of dignity and - of course Justice.

Because right now, it seems that even if you’re a well to do schoolteacher with parents prepared to raise hell - you’re out of luck if you happen to have erroneous verdicts/assessments from officials. Officials can apparently never be wrong, no need for corrective procedures in the event that something goes wrong. It’s just not even a remote possibility.

I mean, lets face it - Ellen has an army on her side - but I don’t think this is the only case of sloppiness. How many others are victims of their flawed judicial infrastructure?

Finally, Osbourne cited the findings of then-assistant ME Dr. Lyndsey Emery, who in 2019 conducted a neuropathological evaluation of a six-inch specimen of Ellen’s spinal cord that was damaged by one of the 20 knife wounds she sustained. Emery found, “There is no hemorrhage in the spinal column that is pierced and none in dura that has been pierced,” according to her sworn deposition in the case. Asked by the Greenbergs’ attorney if that meant Ellen was already dead when she received the stab wound, Emery answered, “yes.”

"The scene is staged." Why would Ellen have a towel with her? Why is there no blood on the towel? One of many things the Neuropathologist points out to why it’s a staged scene.

Agreed. jmo

And here's BE with an update. It's a shocker. Not really.
Brian does a two minute video at link noting the below info, recaps Ellen's case and also graphic/sensitive photos:

5 months ago -- The City of Philadelphia said they would re-examine the death of Ellen Greenberg.
5 months has gone by.
And her parents say the city has still done NOTHING.
They have now filed a motion demanding a judge "enforce the settlement agreement."

Should find them in contempt of court and dish out some prison time to those officials

IMO

Call me naive but to me it indicates someone is demanding to declare this a homicide.

Attorneys for Ellen Greenberg's parents say they're fed up and tired of waiting. They're asking the City of Philadelphia to follow the terms of a settlement agreement reached months ago and complete a reexamination of their daughter's death.

In February, the city agreed to pay Ellen Greenberg's parents, Sandy and Joshua Greenberg, $650,000 and reopen the controversial investigation into their daughter's January 2011 death.

A spokesperson for the city's law department tells CBS News Philadelphia they will be in contact with the Greenbergs' lawyers and that the review is actively in progress.

The prosecutors just did a brief on the case. Stating the stalemate.

This really is awful - don’t women’s lives matter in our society? Well, if her man is from a fine family and he says it was suicide - that’s it. nothing to see here folks.

I’m thinking of starting a one-woman research project on this case.

Not a woman -- but agree. Absolutely shameful.

They need to bring in some cold case detectives, new eyes. Although I have a feeling evidence was has disappeared.

They need data and access to it.

You cannot convict but you could cause serious damage to possible suspects . Unless her murder is recognized this year, I hope her parents will act on it.

But, worse, IMO the community suffers from fraud, negligence, stigmatisation, cronyism and a lethal dose of corruption. This is not how a legal process should be conducted.

All the physical evidence except her body was lost - read *destroyed*. As far I know.

I believe the suspect was protected from the beginning, and sadly will continue to be. I wish people would scream from the streets over this case.
