...which is ironic, because hardly anyone is ever executed in Pennsylvania. You get to sit on Death Row for decades.

It's even worse here in California. There are actually condemned inmates who have been waiting for an execution date for 35 years, if you can believe it. Appeals go on forever.

Just heard on Nancy Grace podcast, they had a Philly reporter on the program. No death penalty CONVICTION in Pennsylvania in over a decade.

@@ and here come the remorseful alligator tears. Well, he wasn't sorry when he was gleefully grinning for his first mug shot and he wasn't sorry when he was waving at the camera crews. He was sorry when the first body was found and he knew if he didn't come clean he'd be facing the death penalty. Sorry? Yes he is a sorry piece of wasted humanity.

That and it stops them from digging any other sites on the property. I don't think this is his first time. Unless he had help, he seemed to be quite efficient.

Is it by law they can't search more? What if there's more evidence to be found?

It's one thing to confess in exchange for removing the death penalty from the table. The confession is an item to be entered into evidence at a trial.

It's another thing to plead guilty in a court of law. Is that also going to happen? He could conceivably plead not guilty by reason of insanity, and we could go through years of litigation until this is resolved.

I hope he pleads guilty and the families are spared the circus of the criminal justice 'system'.
