Also, FWIW, while this isn't a small area, it's the kind of area where people stick around. I went to high school in the 80s and easily 75% of my classmates are still in this general area. I haven't met anyone yet who is more than 2-3 degrees of separation from the families involved. My entire family knows one of the mothers. My friend dated the DA. I went to school with and still chat with his wife. Most people know each other pretty well.

NOT saying there isn't a ton of gossip and speculation. Just saying that when pretty much an entire high school names names, we believe them.

That may be true but I truly believe that if he didn't believe most of what was recited he didn't have to repeat it. This is just my opinion I don't want to sound argumentative.

Did he mention the drugs in the presser. What CD and SK told detectives is all in the affidavit of probable cause, so it's public record anyway whether it is true or not.

I have no answers for you Margarita but I'm from New Jersey and anyone close to Jersey goes to the Jersey shore anytime they wish. Also Atlantic City is in Jersey and easy to get to as well.

Just chose a straight shot (Belmar) into Jersey...typically Sandy Hook begins "Jersey Shore" and ends down in Cape May ....few miles further south than Atlantic City (AC).

Only my opinion being a Jersey girl!!

Parx Casino is a LOT closer

Alright, sports, what about sports? Maybe he gambled online. Again, just a thought.

would definitely be a paper trail for that cause he'd have to use a credit card - which would probably be one where he was an authorized user on his parents' account - cause its kind of hard to get a major credit card without a job - unless it's a prepaid one - and most gambling sites will not accept them.

We've got a (small) new one that just opened in Suffolk county too. :)

Online sports gambling is illegal, but one can fund an offshore account at a cost...much easier to have a local bookie

There's a Casino on Street Road in Bensalem, I drive past it all the time. Parx Casino and Racetrack.

Casinos prohibited in Pennsylvania

New York previously allowed casinos only on indian reservations and currently have 5 of those but they are in up-state New York. As of 2013, they have approved 7 "Las Vegas Style" casinos. No idea if those are open yet!

New Jersey: Obviously yes. Not sure how close Atlantic City is to Philly. Maybe a local can chime in.

Delaware: Yes.

Maryland: No. Slot Machines only in certain counties.

Good thing we don't need the facts on casinos, as many posts are fake news, lol

But they weren't buying shoes, they were buying drugs from a known drug dealer. I'm saying that kids make bad choices and to say that JP didn't fit in the crowd seems to me like they are lessening the fact that NONE of them deserved to die. They were all doing the same thing.

That is what CD said I think it was shoes or not the amount of drugs he is saying. Weed is not a reason to die and it's legal in so many states it needs to be legalized everywhere I sure hope the police look into other missing persons cases especially young men. I'm upset that he got a hold of his mothers gun, she should be held accountable. So many things about this case upset me. I still think he's lying and they need to dig up the whole property.

it depends on what state you are in. I do actually believe it is legal for residents of NJ, but am too tired to look anything else up today. :moo:

The victims' bodies certainly must have been abused greatly and that is why they are charged with 'abuse of a corpse' and one victim was run over by the backhoe driven by CD and crushed. :(

CDs story about the murder of DF makes absolutely no sense. He is saying Kratz was right there with him and involved in the shooting yet he is the only one he mentions who is struggling by himself to pull the body out of the barn???? He is lying through his teeth, imo.

IMO

Had a day from hell and trying to catch up. where can I find the information you have posted?

He is 20! He wasn't gambling in a casino and he didn't have a line of credit in one either.

There's a good bit of hunting here (some schools are closed first day of hunting season) so responsible teens with guns is also very common.

I just read the Detectives Document now...how heart wrenching for all of them but especially reading that last bit about Tom Meo screaming & Mark Sturgis running for his life...since the DP has too many loopholes, let them both rot in jail without possibility of parole & let the other inmates show these punks what a Boss really looks like (every night for the rest of their miserable lives)!
