Saw this news story - It doesn't make sense to me that he would be killed for a lottery ticket since they would know it was stolen? I guess criminals don't always think things all the way through. So terribly sorry for his family and the loss of their loved one, seemingly over greed.

A missing Philadelphia man was found dead last week and may have just won the lottery before his death, according to local reports. Francis Decero, 25, was found by a group of children in some bushes on Douglas Street, Philadelphia on May 4 and had been missing since April 26, according to a KYW news report.

I guess the victim had notified the lotto of the ticket or ? If he had the ticket and it hadn’t been verified yet then it would be like cash. This is strange.

Perhaps he had already collected his winnings.
