Missing Since: June 25, 1933
Name: Franz “Frank” Malma
Age: 19
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 150 pounds
Hair Color: Blonde, curly
Eye Color: Blue
Other: He is an Austrian-German by birth and speaks excellent English. It is thought he may have joined either the army or navy.

Details of Disappearance:
According to his family, Frank left Myerstown for Lebanon saying he was “going into town” and they’ve not seen or heard from him since. He left home with no extra money, clothing or his car, which was his pride and joy.

His family later learned that he had been seen on North Eighth Street looking for a local vendor with whom he’d been friendly. The vendor told police a year later that he had not known Frank, but his family contends that he frequently chauffeured the vendor around his routes.

He is five feet seven inches tall, weighs about 150 and has blonde curly hair and blue eyes. He is an Austrian-German by birth and speaks excellent English.

Chief of Police Harry Sealer sent out a description of the man over the teletype. It is thought he may have joined either the Army or the Navy.

Thank You @MadMcGoo for the thread!! These old cases are just as important as the new ones!!! I was wondering about the delayed reporting of him being missing and it is SORT OF explained. I also thought he may have committed suicide due to the hard times of the Depression era. Also the vendor, whoever he is suspicious saying he did not know Frank. JMO MOO

No problem! I agree they deserve attention too. :)

The vendor stood out to me too. Seems like a strange thing to lie about IMO.
