It certainly has been a while since anyone worked on this case.

just joined, first post, yada yada
there's a word that i'm thinking of that could be in print on bottom left, something like aggregated or federated as retail chains can be sometimes. IMO looks like Factory Outlet. There's a couple of them in the region. As each retailer would most likely have own logo bags the food court vendors may use a factory outlet bag...
just a thot.
so many faces so few names.

Its been awhile since I sat and stared at this bag. Actually it almost made an "old bag" out of me, lol.
I keep thinking its from the flea market up in that area. I think the "green dragon" or something like that.

you need some sleep... the only old fashioned girl i imagine is the Morton salt girl. a while ago iwas just lookin at my HS class page and came across a mate graduating a year after me named Tonya Gardner. BING
it took me a second of flippin thru the mental rolodex to realize why the name was familiar. I think i saw it on DOE at about 3,30 am. hey look at the time.

I had concluded the last go around that it definitely says

PA Eatery.

No where have I seen anything that resembles common words like pizza, subs, etc.

runnin with your 'eatery' theory, not necessarily PA, i found a Factory Outlet mall across the state line in Flemington NJ with an establishment called the Eatery. Been there since the 80's. If you imagine the girl was from maybe nyc or philly the main corridor thru jersey is well traveled. A young girl picked up by a couple creeps could have been dumped in rural area in PA as perp traveled thru that area. My gut says two perps by the way. ANyway..
just my theory. I used to live in Piscataway and middle NJ is such a busy area with people from all over the country passin thru. I've got the number for the eatery and will try to find a bag logo from them.
to be continued....

The Green Dragon is in Lancaster, about half an hour to 45 minutes away. It's a possibility, but who knows what stands were there in the 80's?

It also has the letters PIC on it.
Does Pennsylvania call the restaurants inside the turnpike stops eateries?

  • #213
I've been thru there plenty, can't remember the rest stop diners but when I googled 'eateries in PA' it showed a gzillion and they (penners) call everything eateries. Bars, saloons, pubs, diners, foodcourts, yada yada..
Three other establishements i called yesterday had all been there less than 10 yrs. I selected eateries in PA with letters somewhere in the title, f a o
...ate.....
no luck. gonna watch the FL fishing report and check back in later

I also contacted someone from Faygo Soda Company and they said it wasn't something from them. There's a reporter in my area who is doing a story on all of the unidentified people in Berks County, and supposedly it's going to run in the very near future. Hopefully this will shed some light on this case.

bumping post up.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but has anyone considered it might be a Fayva shoe store bag? When I originally looked at the pictures (as a lurker), that was the first thought that popped into my head.

Am I jumping to conclusions by saying it is a Family Dollar bag? Random thought.

Bumping up again.
