If she had long hair and she washed it, just once is enough to clog the drain, if she is anything like my daughter.

I think that's exactly what they mean. She was on medication for thyroid condition which had caused her to passed out in the past.

I am VERY curious about the thyroid medicine that caused her to pass out in the shower and am trying to wrap my head around that part.

Sorry, I am ever so slightly skeptical of this story.

I don't even know why thyroid medication would be brought up. I've dealt with hypo and hyper and am on medication. I've never heard of passing out as a side effect.

But, gosh what a horrible experience. :/ It reminded me of coming in once when one of my kids was taking a bath. He was well old enough to take a bath on his own. BUT he was laying on his back, head resting on the back of the tub and fell asleep. When I walked in the bathroom he was just floating in the water on his back with his eyes clothes. I freaked out at first worried something had happened. He wasn't allowed to take a bath by himself after that. Scared me to death.

Not clear to me if the thyroid condition was causing her to pass out or the medication for it. Fainting is one of the side effect of hyper thyroid.
