A jawbone was discovered Thursday morning, at around 8 a.m., in an abandoned parking lot at North Front Street and Houser Road. Police searched for additional remains but no other bones were found.
-----------------------------------
The discovery came days after a human skull was discovered in a wooded area of West Hanover Township, not far from where Heike Leich went missing more than 12 years ago. The skull was found north of the 7800 block of Fishing Creek Valley Road by outdoorsmen hiking in the area on Sunday, state police said.

Hetrick said he does not believe the two cases are related.

Graham Hetrick stated that the remains showed no signs of animal activity. (Local person here) The new reports kept showing images of garbage bags, but no statement as to whether or not the remains were found in them. I wonder if the remains were moved to that location, and had decomposed elsewhere. If you take together missing people in Dauphin, Lebanon, and Cumberland Counties (across the Susquehanna) there are only 17 (I think) possible people... one of whom has been missing since the late 60s, and would be unlikely, and another who may have been found, ironically, earlier the same week. Going along with my notion that the remains were moved to that location after decomposing elsewhere, I wonder if they could belong to Tracy Kroh, now that there have been substantial developments in her case? Just as likely that they may belong to the other people missing in that area, or someone else altogether. I didn't include Perry County in my search, and I know there are a few people missing from Perry as well. The location North of Harrisburg, but not terribly far from 81, would make it a convenient dump site for all those counties mentioned.

I'm fairly certain this is the NamUs entry for this case but the location is off. News reports said North Front Street and Houser Road, NamUs says Dauphin County Commission Center on the side of the building located under brush 4.5 - 5 miles away.

Could this be Diane Wolf from Hanover? She went missing in January so the scarf made me think possibly?
