Were you able to use the wayback clock?OK. Thank you again.
Still can't find it. I went to Google Earth and tried there, but even that didn't have what you were talking about......at least for the details about James Kos. Now, when I tried again, on a different case, the maps worked. Maybe it only is available for certain locations? Were you able to use the wayback clock?
I will check it out and let you know.Still can't find it. I went to Google Earth and tried there, but even that didn't have what you were talking about......at least for the details about James Kos. Are you talking about Abers Creek road? I don't know how deep it is, but I do know you would spot a body in it. It was shallow enough to see to the bottom (Most) of it. We had classmates that had an accident in a car and one of the them drowned. But you could see the car. He wouldn't have a reason to be in that area if he was walking home. There is a small creek there. At 42 years of age, I guess it is possible that he accidentally fell in. Sadly, with all of the woods around, IF he ran into foul play, the perp/s could have hidden him anywhere.
I lived near there and I could swear it went from being Hills to being Ames. I believe most Hills locations did.Happy to help. So I just googled who bought out Hill's department stores and It was a K-Mart when I left, and I do believe that is where he worked. Yes you can walk, lots of people did. The plaza was on Northern Pike at the end of the road, it had a Giant Eagle food store opposite the K-Mart. Northern Pike is a long steep hill, but you can walk it. I don't know where he lived, but I did find an obit for I think his mom in 2002 (?)
Nope it was K-Mart, my sister in law worked for Hills for 10 years. I used to shop at the Giant Eagle, and it was K-Mart that took over. I did google it to see who bought it out, but either way, that is where he was last seen.I lived near there and I could swear it went from being Hills to being Ames. I believe most Hills locations did.
Doesn't look like DNA is available, the family should submit their DNA because he could be in another county as an UID DOE.James Kos
