Family, Friends & Police Look For Missing Levittown Woman

Levittown, Pennsylvania -
Friends, family and police are looking for a Bristol Township woman who has gone missing.

Jamie Marie Coulter, who is in her early 30s and lives in Levittown, raised concerns recently when she put out a suicide note and turned off her cellphone several days ago. Family told LevittownNow.com the mother of two has a drug problems and was last seen in northeast Philadelphia.

“I am very sick, but I want you and William to know that you are always on my mind every day. I love you both oh so much and I will forever be in your hearts,” Coulter said in a post Friday night.

Bristol Township police spokesman Acting Lt. Ralph Johnson said the department has taken a missing person’s report for Coulter. He added that there is an “active investigation” into Coulter’s whereabouts.

Police searching for missing former Bristol Township woman

Police are searching for a former township woman who has been missing since Saturday.

The family of Jamie Coulter Bareara became concerned after she posted a troubling message on Facebook Friday morning, said Bristol Township police acting Lt. Ralph Johnson. Bareara's family said they called Bareara's cellphone multiple times after that, but she did not answer.

Jamie Coulter Bareara was last seen Thursday at her family's home in Bristol Township, said her sister-in-law Paula Coulter. The family reported her missing Saturday.

Bareara also is wanted in Philadelphia on an unspecified warrant, Johnson said.

Barrera frequently changes her hair color; the natural color is blonde, but it was dyed burgundy at the time of her disappearance and it has been dyed red and brown before. Barrera has the following tattoos: the name "Elmer" on her lower right leg, the name "Rafa" on her left leg, the name "Shafiq" on the back of her neck, the name "William" on her right shoulder, and the name "Cliff" on her right wrist. She may use the last name Coulter. Barrera wears lower dentures, and she left those behind.

Details of Disappearance
Barrera was last seen in Levittown, Pennsylvania on February 7, 2016. She rented a hotel room for a week, but stayed only one night before she disappeared. She left a letter to her two young children on her Facebook account, saying she was "very sick" but loved them very much. She has never been heard from again.

Barrera left all her belongings behind, including her dentures, makeup and phone. She may have traveled to the Kensington or Torresdale areas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she frequented those neighborhoods before she went into recovery from drug addiction about six months prior to her disappearance.

According to her family, Barrera was seen with her ex-boyfriend on the night of her disappearance, and he has told multiple different stories about what happened. Barrera and her ex-boyfriend's wife had just found out about each other. Her family stated that in spite of her drug addiction, she had never missed her children's birthdays. Her case remains unsolved.

Note this woman would not have left without her "plate" dentures or what little makeup she accumulated through addiction.

There's always hope. Always.

Reread and maybe missed it. How did she get up to Levittown? Most people in addiction for a significant time don't have a vehicle. In a car it's hop, skip, jump up I-95. Maybe she was up in those "hotels' on the boulevard albeit not Levittown.

Bless her family and kids. Addiction can happen to anyone. I have a feeling she met up with someone where she stayed. Maybe didn't know them. Went to cop, and? Hope not.
