YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Pennsylvania State Police-York say they are investigating a missing endangered person.
According to authorities, they are trying to locate 33-year-old Amanda Sue Aten.
Police say Aten was last seen at her mother's house on the 5200 block of Sinsheim Road in Codorus Township, York County on December 6.
Authorities say Aten was recovering from a MRSA infection and was receiving IV antibiotics through a PICC line.
Aten was last seen leaving her mother's house with a white man in a white Ford Expedition, possibly a 2007 model, according to police.
Police say the registration number and state of registration are unknown, but say the vehicle has a three-ball trailer hitch with a hook.
Attempts to contact Aten have not been successful, police say.
Authorities say the hospital where Aten was receiving outpatient treatment has told them she has discontinued treatment.
Aten has ties to the Hanover and Philadelphia areas, according to police.
Anyone with information on where Aten may be is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police York Station at 717-428-1011.
