Found Deceased PA - Nicole Ebaugh, 29, missing from park, Springfield Twp, 6 Mar 2021

This is very sad. I guess LE knew what to expect for some reason. They certainly put in the hours and the man/dog/horse power to find her.

RIP Nicole Ebaugh. Hope you have some peace now.
Agreed - LE put in a strong effort to find her and should be commended. I'm sorry for Nicole and her family. Being 29 isn't as easy as it looks.

I’m surprised they brought her all the way to LVH in Allentown, if this took place in York.

Could be any number of things. Sometimes it's a matter of which facility has space. Sometimes it's the one where the person conducting the autopsy prefers to work. Sometimes it's an arrangement among regions, or set by the state.

I'm having a hard time understanding how they missed her. I'm familiar with the area. If she was found near the foot bridge how was she missed? I know we don't know everything so it's easy to speculate. I'm just surprised with all the searching that they were able to miss her for 6 days.

The pictures in this article, especially the first two, give me a good example of what the terrain and landscape look like this time of year. Heavily wooded, typical Fall/Winter ground cover (heavy leaves, downed branches/trees). I'm assuming she was off the trail and sought a location where she could have privacy. I also take note of SAR bright colored reflective clothing that is easy to spot. She would not have stood out like this. Outdoor searches are hard. Body recovery is difficult sometimes. IMO

That makes sense. I love 10 minutes from here. The area near the bridge is not dense and easily accessible. The grasses are long and brown though and there are some areas of bramble. This area is heavily trafficked daily. I know we may not ever know....there were dogs and horses and 100 people searching. Either way, it's terribly sad.

It's possible they walked past her, was close to the area she was. Another possibility, although her estimated time of death hasn't been confirmed (I believe). Is she was on the move after parking her car and heading out on foot. I'm assuming she died the same day, maybe she didn't. Although this scenario is not on the top of my list.

When this was posted, the bolded made me think and I even posted she sounded despondent and would be spooked if approached. To me it sounded like they thought she was in the park, possibly alive, but in trouble. IMO
