Do you have a link for this information? I am not finding anything.

I believe he was driving a rental. Usually rentals from a national chain a fairly new model vehicles.

If you are driving from Bucks County, PA to Washington DC, Toms River is not on the way to DC, unless he has friends that he was picking up.

According to the info in his Namus file his rented vehicle is a 2006 Mini Cooper.....:(

Puzzling and confusing. This sentence from NAMUS--"British Racing Green both top and body, though believed to have been in a rental car" -- makes it unclear whether the MC is the rental car or not.

And the NJ police have the names of the accident victims--and Bucks County is barely two hours away from Toms River, so you'd think if this were the missing person, the police would have put two and two together...

Do rental cars usually have GPS??

When I read it, I thought it implied that the 2006 Mini Cooper was his personal vehicle, but he was believed to be in a rental car that was not a mini. Admittedly, I could be reading it incorrectly.

I agree with you. I thought they were saying that he owned a Mini Cooper and was thought to be in a rental car. But, it is confusing how it is written. I wonder if he had planned on a rental and had spoken to family/friends about it or if a rental was traced back to him via his bank records, when the investigation started into his disappearance? Also, why would they give out info of a car he owned, but was not driving at the time of his disappearance? So many questions here for me.

Is he 49 or 45? I've seen both here.

Hope he just needed a break.
