How long was he married to her mother? Just so strange, assuming it has been a while...

  • #362
She may have heard or seen something that he felt threatened by, even if she didn't make any connections.

Or.... he was secretly in love with her and her recent wedding just drove him over the edge.

Or... he's done this before and we are only just now scratching the surface.

Watch a movie called Frozen Ground with Nic Cage. Based on a true story. Some people are just crazy.

OT Loved that movie!

While the whole case boggles my mind. I can't get over how he planned to stage it so that her car would be found where it was. And his own step-daughter?! I don't know how long he was married to her mother but msm articles have said she knew him since she was 12. So it's not as if no one really knew him and/or it was a new relationship. Although I guess in hindsight, no one really does know when someone in their life is going to snap and do something like this. :(

I don't get it unless he abused her when she was small and she just never said anything. Obviously he has wanted her sexually for years and planned this all out. It is just a very sad case. He had so much money he could have gotten hookers, but it seems he was obsessed with Jessica. I really hope he gets life, I don't think PA has the death penalty, but he deserves death. I feel so sad for her family and husband and children.

The motive to me appears to be jealousy and the fear of being "outed" after years of abuse.

He obviously planned this in advance by planting his truck close to where he was going to dump her car.

It also seems obvious that by his truck not being parked at the house, Jessica would think that he wasn't there, thus her dropping by to use the fax.

Her mother had been out of town, who knows what kind of exchange he and Jessica may have had while the mother wasn't around for a day or two prior?

He makes a move on her, she resists.....threatens to finally out him for all the advances throughout the years........it was a heated enough exchange that she made a believer out of him. Keep in mind, this could have occurred 1, 2, 3 days beforehand, while her mom was nowhere around. It could have even occurred over the telephone. Jealousy ? Yeah........she was married now and she didn't want anything else to do with his dirty butt.

Either way, this guy panicked and decided that killing her was the only way to protect his dirty little secret. She obviously had no idea what he was capable of. There is no doubt this was premeditated.

I can't find a report that specifies the time that he drove his vehicle to the car repair place and had his employee pick him up. In the press conference, I only heard them make reference to "earlier in the day". That could mean anything from early morning to shortly before he took her car to dollar general.

There is probably a record of what time he called his employee. If it was early in the day, before Jessica left her place of employment, then this would show it was pre-planned for sure.

It said sexually motivated, but has it said she was sexually assaulted?
This has not yet been confirmed, but probably suspected based on her level, or lack of, attire when found. :(

I don't think it makes a difference if it was 5 minutes or 5 hours. The timeline of her phone calls to his car swap is so tight that it can only really mean one thing: premeditated.

I don't think this guy panicked at all. I think he fully intended to kill her that day.

^In my earlier post, I speculate that he possibly tied her up when she arrived at the house. Dropped her car then came back and had much, much more time. Otherwise he just didn't have enough time to assault and kill her based on her leaving the daycare at 12:50 and him on video shortly after 1:00.

I hadn't even though of that possibility, but you could be right :(.

Hope they're searching this guy's property for Holly Grim.

I haven't read the marriage date, but in one of the MSM articles, it said she had known him since he was 12.

Does anyone here remember the case from a few years ago where the step father killed his adult step daughter and concealed her in the basement where he lived with her mother? He then went to an elderly couple's home, kidnapped them, stole their car and then dumped their bodies on the way to, I think it was, Florida?

Maybe they should be looking also for the other women that disappeared in that area through this sociopath, he might have done something with the other women too.

That was just such a horrible tragedy. It was Gladis and Richard Russell...and Tiffany Brown (found under a wood pile) Sam Little was the murderer. So sad :(

Hope they're searching this guy's property for Holly Grim.

I would be curious to know if he did any fencing jobs at Red Maple Acre's (Holly's trailer community).

The death penalty could be on the table.

He deserves the death penalty, but if he does get it, it will get reversed to life imprisonment. PA hasn't executed anyone in over 15 yrs.
