O/T but thought I'd throw this in here. There were human remains found in Volusia County in Florida that were brought in the Heather Elvis thread here on Websleuths; it seems they have more or less said it was NOT Heather, but yet they haven't said 100% it isn't. But from reading the posts about those remains, I do know other posters said that there are lots of missing people in Florida that have not been located. Not that it has anything to do with this case but just thought I'd throw in that little tidbit of info.

Kudos to those of you who found this other business in Florida!

I wonder if the trip to Florida was always a drive or if they flew. Pennsylvania to Florida is a super long trip to do all the time.
1000 miles, 15 hour trip.

I wonder if "fax something" was a code they used for something else. fax something=drug run ??

My gut keeps telling me that this was all about sexual abuse. I just can't shake the image of Jessica coming to terms with past abuse, perhaps threatening to talk to her mother when her mother returned from the trip to Florida. Something along these lines could have precipitated this horrific event. Pot dealing, though illegal, doesn't typically result in murder of family members.
